So, flux grenades, nifty little things. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but they're meant to damage only shields whilst doing 0 to armour, correct? Well, for me, they work like this the majority of the time, but there has been occasions where I've chucked one and gotten a kill, directly from the flux 'nade, and it shows up in the kill feed for all to see. Now, I don't know how this happens, as I generally cannot directly see the afflicted, all I know is that a chuck one, go 'round for an ambush and the game tells me the flux grenade killed my target. |

Sometimes you see guys with zero armor but they've got full shields. Maybe? |

I suppose, though as I mentioned I can rarely directly see the target when the grenade explodes. |

flux nades are still grenades, direct impact still has an explosion and can kill on direct contact. yes its rare cause people don't typically try to hit people with the flux nade itself, but I don't think this is a bug, more a reward for a direct hit.
yes I scratch my head every time a flux nade kills me, but honestly its very rare and you just have to tip your hat to the lucky SOB that threw it ;) |

So you're saying, for example, if it blows up right in your face? Well that's nifty. |

Flux nade kills seem to be back with the 1.2 update, don't think Mine were direct impacts. |

Yeah flux able to do some damage to armor is okay. It is a explosive device designed with killing intent, not those non-violent CC 'weapons'.
Also, it rare enough not to be disturbing. |

I dunno, i think there is still a lil off with them. I tossed a flux and ended up killing the driver of a logi lav that ran it over and was at least 20 something feet paste it when it exploded lol. I had to go back in the recording just to make sure. Gonna toss the vid up tomorrow morn. |

There was a bug reported that flux grenades could kill if the defending player jumped at a specific time.
There was also a bug reported that would kill LAV drivers occasionally.
I thought both of these had been fixed, but maybe they were working with old code in 1.2 and the bug fixes didn't get in(iirc they were hotfixes). |

Because if we don't, eventually someone will cry "NERF, ER MAH GERD DAS UNACCEPTABLE" and therefore, it will be hit harder than a heavy by an lav. |

Well, I remember back in Chromo that it wasn't connected to jumping, and it looks like this may be the same bug resurfaced. |

Hi guys, Flux grenades occasionally killing infantries/vehicles/installations is indeed a bug. We have fixed it, and it won't bother you in the coming patch. |

AV grenades can also have the same affect if they score a direct hit on the driver of an LAV. The LAV comes to a stop intact, sans driver. |

I remember the days when I toss an AV nade at a moving LAV as it stops, driver jumps out the rear, and my AV nade contacts the person who just jumped out and kills him. Always made my day whenever that happened. |

Will this be a hotfix coming before the next update, or are we going to have to wait until August or whenever? |

Updates are coming out on a close to monthly basis now. 1.3 will be out in a few weeks. |

I think this is an effect of a problem not a problem it self, the problem is that some times ppeople can escape from a fire fight without any armour or shields and live. What might be happening is when the bug happens to someone, and they're hit with a flux they are reduced back to 0HP shield and armour and then killing them unlike the first time. |

I dont understand what the problem is i kill enemys that have no armor and are relying on shields, if i flux him thus removing his shield he should be dead because there is nothing left protecting him. |
