I've been seeing people with lasers a bit today and its quite sad actually.
The laser makes the noise of a fly when it hits you, and its exactly what it feels like. By the it overheats, the user takes more damage than he's cut through my shields. It's laughably actually, I don't even acknowledge laser users anymore, they just aren't a threat. |

Yeah was an ELM laser ***** in Chromo wouldn't touch the Viziam because I though it was tacky and cheap......and I didn't have enough SP for it...
Saw the ranges they can fire though its nasty.
But if we all say its still gimped I wont touch it yet. |

(But they own people with low eHP, I run with like 350-310 eHP and I was getting murdered by some laser users) |

Laser feels more like a support weapon than an assault weapon now is how I feel. I still think it's a good and viable weapon, but it's role has drastically changed. |

I remember a time when I loathed lasers. Where the "fingers of god" would point and burn me to ashes. If I just peeked my head out, within nanoseconds I fell.

Halo reach had something called a focus rifle, and I used it heavily. That's why I'm pretty bummed at what CCP did to it in uprising.
Also, in the Immortal video, it shows a heavy holding a Laser Rifle and what looks to be a camera mounted on the top front. So the original chromosome sight was on par with that video, take it down.

Buffed and nerfed,
Still a full time laser user.
-I havnt noticed the glare, could be all daylight maps though. Huge improvement , you can actually see people. And the overall fps increase is also making every wep feel better.
-I have not sat down with a buddy and found the ranges yet, but I love tickled somebody really far out there.
-nothing with the dmg or heat build up has changed that I could tell.
THe bad:
-all that time I have spent finding prime laser perches is gone. No longer can I melt AR dudes at 100% optimal in safty. They can now shoot back with some pretty good dps.
It still needs some love, but Ccp is aproaching it the right way, slow and steady. This gun is one tweak from Op.

Std Laser is better at range than the std Scrambler rifle. Though, when it gets to adv the Laser is significantly worse.

I know one person that can still put in work with the laser. I don't know how he does it, but he manages to rack up 10-15 kills consistently. I think he pre-heats and aims for the head or something. |
