I like this game for this suit only, not many other games you can custom an scout kill like this. So I need to know is it really that bad as a scout now? Are there plans to fix stamina an jumping, knives, more CPU pg, or even making the mini a meta 7 for proto like everything else in the game? I mean at max you might get 450 hp(least in game, proto scout has less than my dragonfly assault 600 hp) I mean come on, us scouts have been patient but this is stupid as hell if it's true. I haven't even logged on due to what I've read plus been busy today but when I do is it gonna be a face palm moment? Can we petition a fix? Any solution s? I don't wanna quit scout or the game but I want it to be worth the time I invested an the money. I understand nerfs an rolled wit the punches but now it sounds un usable

Im gonna be honest. with so many people asking to fix ''aim'' i kind of predicted CCP making the game a little slower in order to help accomplish this. Thats why i started going Cal Logi before 1.2. Cal logi can run around with 750+HP, at 8+ Sprint speed, with 37.5 Profile , carry a proto weapon and a complex damage mod, AND Still be able to place drop uplinks ,remotes and nanohives. Scouts where dead as soon as chromosome was... |

I don't know, overall not enough to make me quit the class and start funneling my points somewhere else. I haven't really 'spec'd' into scout suits yet though.... been running dragonfly only since open beta start. Now I've added militia minmitar light frame to the mix. But I feel your pain on the SP invested into the scout dampening, range, precision skills etc.... .and all the engineering/electronics just to fit some standard modules onto my suits with a drop uplink.... sheesh.
You think you can adapt? Let me know how it goes when you face Proto Duvolle ARs with 1-2 Complex Damage mods and poficiency Lv5 AND YOU CANT RUN AWAY BECAUSE YOU ARE A TURTLE.

BTW yeah im salty since i have my 7.5 mill dumped into scout....Good thing my last mil was spent towards cal logi, and this week is Triple SP week HEHE.... |

Yeah, I think I can hold on a while longer. ;) I've melted enough times to duvolles and imperial scrambler rifles w/ damage mods to know I can only take two shots.... I've learned long ago that to be seen = bad. To charge head on = bad. To get hit = bad. Don't get me wrong, I die.... a lot. But then again, killing a proto scrub who isn't around their teammates for a revive feels oh, so good. So good..... it's worth dying 10 times a match, at 6k a suit....
well its 10 times of feeling bad agains 1 time of feeling good. That math doesnt work for me....
BTW it might be fun for you, but my scout suit costs 130k ISK, and im not gonna be spending that much cash in something that doesnt work. I prefer using militia tanks than playing proto scout now... |
