Armor for a while on tanks have been a lot more resistance and powerful then shields. Shields have been faster and have always had great passive gain. The same thing can applied to drop suits which have higher armor amount but slower speed. I mean if you can stack on so much armor when even complain... |

Exactly. AFKing to prove a point is just a selfish endeavor. I guess it's eff your teammates. You are more of a casualty than a revolutionist when you consider that action you deem on taking. But lo and behold, you'll be here next week complaining how there aren't enough roses on landscapes. |

Oh I meant armor on dropsuits but shields are up compared to armor tanks. |

I agree about armor tankers getting hosed, the new "balancing" items for armor tanks are crap. So now I can have an armor tanker that has equal hp to a shield tanker with no movement penalty and no repair or can sac some of that hp and movement to get repair. Which will then give me less hp less repair AND less movement than an equally tanked shield tanker. Screw afk in the 3x sp event, I regret all the money I put into this game while waiting for my armor tank to be "fixed" or at least balanced. I won't be spending anymore money on this game, and do not intend to return until I see some actual balance.
Ccp says it listens to us, here is what we want...
Armor tankers should have higher total hp counts than shields because they have no innate regen.
Remove all speed penalties from armor tanks OR add a similar penalty to all shield tanks (perhaps increase their signature radius per shield extender, and after a suit passes a certain signature make it so swarm launchers can log onto them, they will think twice before loading up on 4x complex extenders if they no swarm missiles will be coming for them)
And last but not least, change the skills for the suits that were designed to be armor tanks to have armor tank bonuses instead of blanket boosts for all of one type of suit. (All assault suits get shield regen, all logi suits get armor regen, this is dumb make it race specific for both bonuses not just one)
Edit: forgot about the explosives doing 150% damage to armor ********, reduce this NOW!! |
