Actually game is dying that one you can't really refute. The general interest is blah at best and there is hardly any buzz anymore.
But hey we got amazing corp robberires to sustain us cause thats what this game is really about.

I'd refute that going from 5,100 daily after players to 4,800 daily active players two months after the last major content patch equals "dying." Especially with a new content patch tomorrow. |

the last month has seen a drop and regularly. The fact its getting a slow and steady decline over time and it is getting that is dying. And adding if adding the cycles for people sticking around are dropping faster.
There was a lot more patience and waiting during chromosome as the game was just more fun and people weren't as bitter then as they are now. The more content patches that come and continue to disappoint and they will disappoint until AIMING is fixed will have a negative impact on this game.
But hey at least the metagame is alive and well |

Yea, stuff like this is very dangerous to have going on in DUST right now. People already feel kind of shaky about it, this is a great way to scare off some of our already small player base.

LOL Try 6- 800 hundred bil for size. That was the biggest alliance heist to date in Eve . Happened this year in our alliance , SMA. Long story short it happened over a period of time and the thief was a top alliance official. This heist apparently was his end game move and is on his way to retirement.... The alliance ...lol pocket money for them.
In Eve it is very easy to completely **** with a thief , I had one and after a period of time he actually begged me to stop my special therapy ....and ended up returning every dime he stole from our POS ( It took a few months).
But yea , TRUST is the most valuable commodity in new Eden....and those that live by the TRUST code actually achieve so much more in New Eden . They build rep for them selves resulting in opportunities.... you don't **** with your street rep. Some Eve players even use there credibility to make ISK with ...like facilitating deals etc,
So don't let any one tell you that it is ok to be a thief in Eve , it gets frowned upon by the players. However thief's create content and drama in Eve and that adds some real value to the meta game. |

What numbers are you looking at...it went from 8,000-9,000 daily to ~5,000 daily. Why do you think CCP has uped their cycle time for getting new content out? Its because they saw ppl come in play and then leave and then the vets started leaving. Literally the busy time during the weekends gets max of ~5,500 and that was the time when the most ppl would be playing previously. |

Bounties in EVE are a joke, albeit a nicer one than they were. Most scammers who hit it big just buy a new character from the character bazaar with there freshly gained wealth and start a new anonymous life in EVE, become celebrities once they join their enemies or offer their services for hire.
The only people placing a bounty and try to organize an ingame lynch mob after a scam in eve are probably high sec mining corps, since they have no clue how more than half of the game works. |

Actually the general FPS crowd had mostly lost interest in the whole game to even care.
But yea i think the immature FPS children under the age of 20 will lose their **** over this and the reactions this guy got sound like thats who they are, but metagame isn't entirely frowned on by FPS players they just want their to be ways to respond in kind and have consequences to it,
Hence a kick function on awoxxers in the warbarge. Also notice how awoxxing while fun for the first week or two pretty much died out. The metagame cant and wont fuel this game like it does in EVE.
People want effing gameplay so it needs to happen immediately. Content wise they need skirmish 1.0 pronto(its in the game they just need to turn it on). They need a CTF type mode as well. Or better yet a cycling team objective mode similar to what warzone is in killzon or team obj in uncharted.
More modes in a few playlists. As the population grows back you can separate some of them into different playlists so as to not worry about dilution.
I think CTF in FW would be more fun and make a bit of sense to it. They just need to open the **** up more and stop pandering to the EVE FW guys. If they hate us so much then either A) sever the dust/EVE FW tie and give us our own. B) **** with the EVE guys and then give them a way to either **** with us or at the least utilize us. |

Robbing a dust corp is like taking a kids milk money when you are a 35 year old man. |

They joined a corp with Bandit in the name, then donated large amounts of ISK to the corp, only to have the CEO run off with the loot. The only question in my mind is: Does Ihfrit really only have one arm? |

While in Eve there is recourse for this sort of thing, actions that can be attempted to take against the person in retribution. There is nothing to be done here in Dust, except to sit around and take it in the rear. Unfortunately that may not go well over with many people...especially in a game who's player base has quite a few complaints as it is about things and has the appearance of dwindling a bit. If this will also be considered acceptable in Dust, hopefully there will be ways to bring retribution upon people. |

Even if there was a bounty system in Dust or some other way to get revenge, anyone clever enough could easily deceive their corp members and get away rich, secretly. |

Eve Online had a similar problem until the Retribution Expansion last year. The bounty system alone use to be broken and exploitable while the penalty system was easy to circumvent. |

"BF4 = No more DUST community" Why the **** would I want to play BF4? There's nothing fun about shooting people for nothing, and the game not getting better. |
