LOL Try 6- 800 hundred bil for size. That was the biggest alliance heist to date in Eve . Happened this year in our alliance , SMA. Long story short it happened over a period of time and the thief was a top alliance official. This heist apparently was his end game move and is on his way to retirement.... The alliance ...lol pocket money for them.
In Eve it is very easy to completely **** with a thief , I had one and after a period of time he actually begged me to stop my special therapy ....and ended up returning every dime he stole from our POS ( It took a few months).
But yea , TRUST is the most valuable commodity in new Eden....and those that live by the TRUST code actually achieve so much more in New Eden . They build rep for them selves resulting in opportunities.... you don't **** with your street rep. Some Eve players even use there credibility to make ISK with ...like facilitating deals etc,
So don't let any one tell you that it is ok to be a thief in Eve , it gets frowned upon by the players. However thief's create content and drama in Eve and that adds some real value to the meta game. |

I'd refute that going from 5,100 daily after players to 4,800 daily active players two months after the last major content patch equals "dying." Especially with a new content patch tomorrow.
What numbers are you looking at...it went from 8,000-9,000 daily to ~5,000 daily. Why do you think CCP has uped their cycle time for getting new content out? Its because they saw ppl come in play and then leave and then the vets started leaving. Literally the busy time during the weekends gets max of ~5,500 and that was the time when the most ppl would be playing previously. |

Bounties in EVE are a joke, albeit a nicer one than they were. Most scammers who hit it big just buy a new character from the character bazaar with there freshly gained wealth and start a new anonymous life in EVE, become celebrities once they join their enemies or offer their services for hire.
The only people placing a bounty and try to organize an ingame lynch mob after a scam in eve are probably high sec mining corps, since they have no clue how more than half of the game works. |

I'm fed up of people who whine about this stuff. It's New Eden. Sure you can be mad at someone betraying their friends ingame etc. But this sort of stuff is intentionally allowed in the game. If you want the players who do it banned, you're in the wrong game. |

Actually the general FPS crowd had mostly lost interest in the whole game to even care.
But yea i think the immature FPS children under the age of 20 will lose their **** over this and the reactions this guy got sound like thats who they are, but metagame isn't entirely frowned on by FPS players they just want their to be ways to respond in kind and have consequences to it,
Hence a kick function on awoxxers in the warbarge. Also notice how awoxxing while fun for the first week or two pretty much died out. The metagame cant and wont fuel this game like it does in EVE.
People want effing gameplay so it needs to happen immediately. Content wise they need skirmish 1.0 pronto(its in the game they just need to turn it on). They need a CTF type mode as well. Or better yet a cycling team objective mode similar to what warzone is in killzon or team obj in uncharted.
More modes in a few playlists. As the population grows back you can separate some of them into different playlists so as to not worry about dilution.
I think CTF in FW would be more fun and make a bit of sense to it. They just need to open the **** up more and stop pandering to the EVE FW guys. If they hate us so much then either A) sever the dust/EVE FW tie and give us our own. B) **** with the EVE guys and then give them a way to either **** with us or at the least utilize us. |

i remember a post of how PRO lost 300 (600?) mil isk last year in a match against bunniez, someone also said that the amount won was equal to about 15.6bil isk EVEside, so 2bil currently could be like 100billion + EVEside |

As a former member of One Arm, I will say this; HaHaHa, dumb MFs.
They identified themselves as a pirate corp right off the bat - You don't give money to pirates. Nobody asked you to fund PC. (that we were not participating in anyways) (good) EVE players don't need our (petty change)ISK. Don't give it to them.
The dudes that were so vocal about filing a petition were just chumps. Especially the one that identifies himself by a generic pothead name that only a kid who just started smoking would find amusing.
TLDR; Dumb people are everywhere, waiting to become victims.
