A bunch of tryhards cried about it op. Those same tryhards didn't treat the beta as a beta, it was simply a way to get a massive advantage (afk farming anybody?) The tryhards cried hard enough and voila no more reset.

Ah ha, there's that word again "tryhards". Does it actually work? You know, does it actually make you feel better if you proclaim they're a tryhard when you get owned by someone more skilled? And why should anyone not tryhard, we all play to win no? I know I'm not casually strolling through the battlefield with my HMG taking it easy, I'm trying to win. By the way AFK farming started long after CCP announced No More Resets PERIOD, barring some sort of catastrophe.
No, calling people a tryhard doesn't work as i barely play since uprising, can't get full games in my region and it's way to laggy playing in us or eu.
When you say 'more skilled', did you mean more skill points?
Tryhard = play to win
Non-Tyrhard = play to have fun and win |

This should be a non issue, matchmaker matchmaker make me a match. There aren't really enough people on at any one time for a matchmaker to work, i can already join the same half empty game over n over. |

Don't say stupid ****. Do you know what the main purpose behind an Open Beta is, aside from getting word out on the game? Stress testing the servers. In order to stress test the servers you need a high amount of players. How the hell do you think CCP was going to get the amount of people needed to properly do this when the build that they used for OB had already been around since pretty much September? They knew most of the vets wouldn't play this game without an Incentive. No more SP resets was their incentive, it's not something people asked for, it's something CCP decided to do because they knew it was the only way to retain their existing customers. This was CCP's choice. Also, you had the same opportunity to play that everyone else did, it's not our problem if you didn't.
So your saying that because ccp made a bad game nobody would wan't to play it and they had to 'bribe' vets to stay? |

As i said op, tryhards cried loud and hard and ccp had no faith that new people would actually want to play dust. Ccp tried save Dust's meagre playerbase with a bribe.

Show me the tyrhards crying about their SP, they all expected a wipe, but CCP can't use something to draw a crowd and then not deliver, that's not nice

Ccp promised no more resets because tryhards cried 'if you reset sp i quit. i didn't treat the beta like a beta and want a massive advantage over new players when the game is released'.
Ccp can absolutely use something to draw people out and not deliver. Closed beta merc pack.
