I had an alt and by the time I was out I had a full STD loadout and an advanced weapon. I do think 10k WP is low though.

So you took all your knowledge from playing for a year and placed every SP where you needed it only because you already knew what all the skills do and where to put them to maximize your character coming out of academy.. and you expect every new player to do exactly the same...Just stop talking Kane.

No but I expect anybody that's played an MMO with a skill tree to know to not put skill points into everything only things that benefit your playstyle. I think you need to stop talking.

So with 500k SP you can try out everything there is and find your playstyle right off the bat....Tell me, how many different things have you tried before you got a respec and put millions of SP into one thing?

I have alts. My main has always been AV/Assault. When I want to try something I make an alt and see how I like it before investing.

Are you saying it takes a brain to figure this out? It's RPG set up - it doesn't require a genius. Always upgrade weapons first.

I have 4 also every suit, weapon, and skill has a description. I suggest reading them.

I will say this though, CCP should put in a good tutorial instead of the shitty one we have now.

Because the descriptions are so good. I like how they tell you the max optimal/effective range on the weapons. I also like how dispersion is so clearly defined on things like the shot gun, or the HMG....

I'm thinking that there needs to be like 5 tiers of the academy.

I think it should take you until at least 25k wp to get out of academy.

25k isnt even a weeks worth of play. Alt hasnt even hit the weekly cap and shes at 10,000. Id say closer to 100,000 since that seems to be our benchmark for recruitment rewards but im being optimistic.

I disagree with upgrading weapons first. Level up Shield and Armor upgrades to a level 3 at least. Survivability > Damage Output in the beginning stages.
