i'm new to the barber shop so hopefully my input is noted and contributes to the balancing of dust.
most of you know my main fits are amarr assault w/viz scr and cal shotty, so i will try to be fair in my assesment.
the scr on a. assault (due to bonus) does allow one to "spray and pray" at cqc, and a cal scout with scr and stacked damage mods w/ dampeners can get the drop on most suits and tear them a new one before they have time to say "oh ****!".However at longer ranges the gun itself does promote good gun game so i believe that as the shot travels, it stabilizes reaching its max dps charged or uncharged. while at close ranges since the shot hasn't had time to stabilize it doesn't reach its maxinum dps (just an idea >insert values/ranges< )
now the sg is a weapon that is used mostly by speed/stealth scouts who are trading most if not all of thier tank for that sneak attack ,adding a decloak delay would break that type of fit , so instead increase cloak shimmer so its harder to cross open ground

As for shotgun, have to disagree. My Dren BPO is pretty hard to distinguish from the higher tier Shotguns.
The number of scouts I pick up on my passives as a gal scout is rather hilarious, they're not running any damps and all and they largely rely on the firing from cloak exploit to get their kills.
i never stated they was a difference between tiers, nor did I compare any too bpos (please read my post(s) thoroughly).
exactly you being able to see them puts them at an extreme disadvantage when they try to brick tank a shotty fit, it is like a heavy stacking ewar it just isn't viable against other heavies and even in pubs they are players who use precision on medium suits (i do it makes a ton of difference considering all my fits are made for survivability)
