After playing with Commandos I tried some scouts out...
But I can't really seem to get any real use out of my Amarr scout. Thinking maybe I should switch to Caldari for the highs for extra DPS if i'm going to be so reliant on flanking.
Anyone got any idea what role this suit is even supposed to accomplish? Maybe i'm just looking at this suit wrong |

Seriously though, the whole community isn't that sure about AM Scout role. I am not even sure of the scout role as a whole :P Even more seriously, If you don't know the bonuses - AM scout has stamina bonus, you can run longer distances than any other suit, you also have stronger precision, which lets you see dampened people, but your scanning range sucks. ^^ Sad to say that this is the truth. Sorry man! (Hope you didn't invest too heavily....)

Unfortunatelly it's either running or seeing ;) It's supposed to be a "scout hunter" if that helps. Maybe try fitting max prec on left and max ferroscale on right and see how it goes? :D
I deleted 15 heavy fittings to make 15 scout fittings to figure this suit out.
i got the heavy, logi, and commando meta down, so I went to go learn scouts next. and the first suit i choose - Amarr, already has me lost, lol.
Scout killer makes sense, but that's a really tricky role when you suck as bad as i do with a shotgun lol |

I've been a heavy for 3+ years, scouts have always been the Frodo to my Sauron. Throwing RE's at me, shooting me in the back, killing my allies, then running away. Catching the sneaky bastards before they toss my ring into the lava can be a *****
So i took off the One Ring and picked up the Hobbits kitchen knife. And, damn, that's a nasty kitchen knife. |
