Damn it DTO is the most mysterious. We used to be in the same corp and he was just as mysterious then! Never answers chat neither. He is a true scout. LOL, what's up Bojo. Not my intention, but i'll take it. I play Dust in between taking care of the family, so i'm constantly AFK when not in a match. & keep my mic muted out of respect to others, who don't live in a house with 3 women. |

You will take that compliment I want to know one thing and one thing only: Is Universal Spec Ops a subdivision of Universal Allies, like but for scouts? UA is dead, & Spec Ops was a sub corp I created months ago, that I & a few active UA members used as a temporary home until we decided where we wanted to go. |

Kodho wrote:I have started a scout only corp. I hope to use this corp as a training corp to teach less experienced scouts how to operate. I operate as strictly a sniper scout. I have been fairly successful at this running in public skirmish matches an would like to share my methods with those who are willing to learn. I am also aware that I don't know it all. So, help is needed from all of my scout brothers. I need all types of scouts that are willing to advance the knowledge of those who are willing to learn. My plans are to run pub matches in very small squads in order teach the different techniques that make a successful scout. All levels are welcome. The only requirement is that you run a scout suit. I have become disenchanted with the current way corporations view scouts. So, lets all get better together and further our viability. If you are interested feel free to speak with me via public channel in chat. I'm usually on between the hours of 9:30 pm to 12:00 am every day. The channel is: Public Hidden Submission. Let me know your thoughts. Like I said I do not have all of the answers. However, if we can collaborate as a group, we will strengthen our value to whatever corp we belong.
Stay hidden and keep your head down for gods sake! Kodho I'll volunteer to squad with you guys when i'm available. It's tough out there for a Veteran scout. I can't imagine what it's like to put on the scout suit for the first time at this point in the game. I'm a CQC specialist, & will be happy to offer advice & tactics.
P.S. Are you sure it's not 'Public Hidden Suppression' instead of 'Submission'? |

I have a ADV scanner on my M-1 Series with no CPU chip. They should fit on a proto suit no problem, & a ADV with some sacrifice. |

Bojo The Mighty wrote:Short Anectdote I got myself two levels in Profile Dampening now (told you I'd keep you updated). I seem to be stealthier. I was playing Domination and running around with my Scrambler Rifle. Some medium is taking a stroll. This is where I believe the Scrambler Rifle is superior to the Tactical Assault Rifle. I jumped on down and strolled right behind his ass. Charged that sucker and popped him dead. I bet he was like "What the hell?" In essence, Scan Mods + ScR is a pretty nice combo. I've been thinking which is better for it though, range amplifier or profile dampener. I want to say profile mods are best because like the scenario above, ScR is best when undetected for the "Charge Shot From The Unknown!"
lvl3 dampening is all that is needed for a lvl 5 scout. Any scanner that can pick you up at this lvl, will require at least a basic profile dampener to avoid, even if you had lvl5 in dampening. & from my tests, passive scanning is very unreliable. I've tested fits w/ 1 complex precision enhancer & then 3 plus 2 range extenders, with no noticeable difference(bug maybe?). Scanners are far more reliable. |

I run the Scout suit exclusively. I have made Med & Hvy fits in the past. But it just doesn't feel good to me. So I deleted them, to make room for my Gal scout fits. |
