Name says it all, basicly a bow & arrow that can charge to deal more dmg with an arc on the arrows, besides I want to complement my Nova knives.
basicly a mid-long ranged weapon built for stealth It will shoot silently but leave the arrow stuck wherever it hits. make it high damage and counter this with low ammo and low clip size ( one shot before short reload ) make it have the same dmg to shield/armor as the Nova knives do, that way assassins have their light weapon and another weapon for the ever-growing arsenal. |

I don't see how a stealth bow would be much stealthier than the weapons we already have, but sure. |

[edit] for the lore part I'd like to see it saying something along these lines "the mimitar were low on ammo and supplies while the amar were pounding the outposts walls and a clever commander changed the nova knives handles to be used as an arrow and barley defended against the amar" thats just basic lore I think that those who play for or like lore may enjoy. just sounds like a mimitar weapon.
I'm cool with this just so long as every time anyone died with the nova bow equipped, Dust made the Waaah Waaah sound.

I miss the tec bow from turok 2 so a massive +1 from me. Bow would be good for stealthy scouts as it would have verry little sound when firing compaird to any other wepon. |

Because the Minmatar scout is supposed to excel at melee attacks and the nova knives are the only melee weapon we have currently. Once more melee weapons are added, I'm sure the Minmatar scout's bonus will be updated.
As for the bow, I can't imagine them creating a bowstring that could propel projectiles fast enough to damage our suits. |

It's amazing how just adding the word "Nova" and a glow-effect can turn any stone-age weapon into a futuristic sci-fi one. Other suggestions: the "Nova big rock" requires a heavy suit and both hands to lift. You drop it on enemies from above for devastating damage. The "nova sharpened stick" is great for scouts too. And don't forget everyone's favorite, the "nova club" it's a glowing heavy stick that medium assaults can use to bludgeon their foes! |

Good luck hitting anything at long range with a precision weapon that you have to arch. By precision I mean there's no area of effect, so you either hit or you miss. Arrows also aren't going to travel nearly as fast as bullets or lasers. They would also be too slow to be worth it at mid range as you would have to pull the arrow from the quiver, nock it, and draw the bow string with each shot. It's much simpler to just hold down the trigger and bullets do more damage anyway.
tl;dr Bows in futuristic sci-fi shooters are stupid.

Ha ha +1, my thoughts exactly, if we are ever going to have a lol weapon, I vote for nova big rock.
In all seriousness though, its what divides the fantasy sci fi based themes from the more hardcore / plausible themes.
I vote for the plausible and hardcore sci fi.

I agree with the idea that we should have a bow, but for ****'s sake do not use the word "haters" to refer to people who disagree with you, it makes you look like a moron.
On second thought, don't use the word haters at all.
