To really combat afkers, the developers should implement an algorithm that checks for damage done to enemy players. If no damage is done, all sp and isk should be multiplied by zero. If damage is done it is multiplied by 1. if a player fails to get the x1 multiplier within x amount of time, the game would threaten to kick player after x amount of more time. After enough damage done done multipliers are gained, say 3, then the force check for the multiple can stop checking, as at this point it is clear the player is at least attempting to play. |

Logi hate you, Everyone loves Logi. Dropship pilot also hate you. You were not very constructive but I do see there would have to be a work around for drop ships.
As for logis, I am and have been one, myself since semi deep in the closed beta, and see no issues for us.
The main issue in using and implementing an algorithm is to make it simple so it's easy to write and interject into the game. This way the issue of afkers is solved quickly, instead of 6 months down the road. |

I always had my needle and repair gun out and I never drew my weapon for the most part. I kept my Heavy alive and stocked and revived all the blueberries. So while your capped on triage, your team mate is full on ammo, you just sit there kicking rocks? Not shooting ever as a logi is a bad habit. |
