**Edit, I did mean to piggyback of the posts here recently complaining about the lack of a player base. It is a much worse situation in Oceania believe me.
I am a 2m sp player with a 2m sp player toeing behind and a 1.5m more casual logi player that I lead under my corp.
I find there are not enough players in this game to attempt recruitment. but we would like to begin playing with a team, serious strategy environment.
We are in Oceania timezone.
Is there a way to keep our identity as serious, small squad-oriented group with myself as the leader while also going under the umbrella of a large corp? I haven't found any mechanic that allows this other than joining individually.
My leadership style is perfectly positioned to take orders from the commander and translate them to field-orders on a squad. but I need permanent squad members. I need to know their play-styles and personalities....For my own enjoyment of this as a videogame!
Probably not the right sub-board to post this on, considering the mental-age of the members that troll this section. |

I don't see how this comment makes any sense - what do trolls have to do with you posting this in the wrong section?
Otherwise you're right - this belongs in the war room.
Good luck finding anyone who'd take 2mil SP players btw. Coordination does trump gear - so the best to you. |

I'm an australian player myself, play on Europe or America servers as Oceania is a dead server for AFK farming and Asia is foreign language. As i see it starting a new corp as a new player will NEVER work in dust or EVE, i also think the only current way to make a new corp is to make a reputation of yourself in a big corp/alliance and gain many friends so that one day you can leave that corp, make your own corp and have to reputation and connections behind you to make your new corp grow, well thats what i plan on eventually doing anyway.
PS. its not really a small player base, the times you are probably playing/server region is probably dead/asleep the times you are on. Also it is generally hard to recruit because most players join the older big corps and alliances. |

I'm sorry but you don't have enough SP to be useful in PC battles.
In PC everyone runs full protogear, you would get slaughtered and nothing else. |

I'm happy with our performance on Oceania. If the other servers are different then I simply don't have enough information. but I take on proto heavies and proto duvol TAR without an issue in my minnie gek32 suit. Helps that my squad will always have a flank on an enemy position, or we won't even bother to push in until we can clear the wings.

I honestly dont think anyone would take you. This game is heavily sp based and you would need at least 5 mil to hang with the proto scrubs. Message me though, I have a bunch of friends that have around your sp that im gonna corp with once they get they hang of it. |

Issue is that most corps already have leadership structures and good ones at that, so even if you wished to join a corp as a sort of independent team you probably wouldn't end up in a position of leadership.
If you wanted a larger corp then consider PIE inc were well equipped with OB support and mainly engage is FW for Amarr, if you and you mate are both Amarrians then lease by all means stop by PIE public to see what were about..
Im an NZer so I know what its like with the smaller player bases on out time zones..
Also logistically speaking maintaining a squad sized corp in an alliance isn't practical because it costs 2 mill per month/week or summat to maintain that and such independent groups would normally be only used to support main alliance activities.
You guys could also check out the southern legion as they are mainly NZ AU guys. |

I still don't get why people try to start up a corp when they don't already have a decent number of friends that want to start a new corp too. 2 million SP means you've been here what, a month? Maybe 2 if you don't cap every week. It's like turning up on the first day of school and trying to start a gang when you don't have any friends and nobody knows who you are. |

It's like turning up on the first day of school and trying to start a gang when you don't have any friends and nobody knows who you are. because it's the best way to keep your group of friends together, interested and organised. If the option was gone, I know 4 players myself (as one of hundreds in my position) that would not go past the character creation screen without me. |

I've got a corp of about 145. We have no ISK, microphone, or skill points requirements to join. We usually run squads around the clock. All mr corp members have varying sp levels. I'll take anyone and teach them. And yes, we have beaten some of tge "big boy" corps. Look us up... Legions of Infinite Dominion |
