Here's a serious question that I've been wondering for a few months. This reply isn't directed to anyone specificly but i've seen a lot of tankers post in this thread so i thought i would ask. I know that kd isn't the all deciding factor on player skill, but why don't all tankers have really high kd ratios? You have some of the most powerful weapons and the highest defenses in the game. Is it an isk issue, not being able to earn more than what is spent on tanks, so you have to run on the ground? Do you lose your tank often enough only to maintain a low (relative) kd ratio. Or do you use infantry fittings often enough to affect your stats? |

the smart tanker will only drive a tank when the enemy has one or when the situation calls for it, being as how they eliminated the link between dropsuit skills and vehicle skills if you skill into vehicles youl have no skill points in your dropsuit thus making you more vulnerable. however the tankers that can go the entire match and not get killed are the best right now since we know how to avoid instant death. |
