lol. dont be butthurt bc ur maddy was put in a stalemate by a gunlogi. also, if you ask pretty much anybody from LoI, Eon, and even a good number from ROFL or Internal Error, they'll probably put me in the top 20 (not that it's a great feat, considering there aren't that many of us), and easily ahead of you, for that matter. I mean, the fact that you make sure to include me in every possible post about tanks just goes to show that you hate me- probably because you know I'm better than you because, oh, i dont know, you're awful. Even compared to B-list tankers, you're still pretty awful. Do you know who Dale5 is? He's in psygods and youve probably never heard of him, but ill bet you pretty much anything that he could take you out as easy as anybody. Oh, and you're a pretty terrible troll.

But for the sake of not sounding like i think i AM the best: here are the tankers I know can either match me or beat me based on seeing them play or dueling with them, so anyone who i have not seen will be excluded (although im not positive they even play dust anymore)

slap (probabaly #1 and most will agree with me)
hotchkiss (a close, close #2)
mavado (had some awesome duels with him once i got a maddy. no way in hell u can match him with a logi)
fighter4all (some of the best anti-tank tactics ive seen)
devonte (has better aim than me)
exmaple (somehow can take maddys head on with logis and win. no clue how it works but it does)
void echo (god with railgun. probably 3rd best with it in the game next to slap and hotch)
adri gac (generally a good all around tanker, but not quite up to the same standard as everyone else on this list. def top 20 tho)
generaal grodd (not as famous as everyone else but he has a strange way of not losing tanks....like ever. it's strange)

again, im sorry if i missed anyone, but it's bc ive never played a match with or against you.

credit where credit is due. pretty much, anyone who uses a railgun within 50m for a whole game is a good tanker bc that is a skill that takes quite some time to develop. I'm pretty good myself, but I only started using rails this way a couple months ago.

Here's a serious question that I've been wondering for a few months. This reply isn't directed to anyone specificly but i've seen a lot of tankers post in this thread so i thought i would ask. I know that kd isn't the all deciding factor on player skill, but why don't all tankers have really high kd ratios? You have some of the most powerful weapons and the highest defenses in the game. Is it an isk issue, not being able to earn more than what is spent on tanks, so you have to run on the ground? Do you lose your tank often enough only to maintain a low (relative) kd ratio. Or do you use infantry fittings often enough to affect your stats?

I would like to nominate myself as the greatest tanker to have ever played the game. This title will be held by me until my offspring defeats me in a glorious blaze. The cy clone reign will never betaken as long as my line of succession remains. Also I have a formidable kdr. That is all.

I'd say traky78 is still the best ds3 EU player. 13ear probably. But they are both not a one man army, if you know what I mean. They, alone, can't change a battle, and you should take account of controller type. A kb/m user is not necessarily better than a ds3 user, but will still beat him, so it's a little bit tricky. Probably, best player is a certain "Newbie Noob", using only ADV max and doing pretty good against PRO. He often do Protocide in militia fit (before aim assist).
Would you mind splitting the chart into ds3 users and kb/m users?

top 20 tankers ninjanomx has to make the list, if nothing else he can survive better than most. I haven't had a tank worth running since chromosome but maybe soon, for the past month I've been putting all my sp back into it. hoping for 1.5 I'll have an HAV ready, I'm trying missiles this time though. I was maybe top 50 in chromosome so we'll see how it goes.
