Seems this forum is nothing but a bunch of poor players defending a broken game. I say poor because this game attracts the worst playing shooters in gaming history, why you ask.....

Anyone with a proto fit can smoke any noob. Helps the crappy players survive in a fps world they could never compete in. You see ccp has made it possibe for you pc players to be horrid at fps and still succeed by having the ability to spot a militia wearing newb from 50m and pounce on them. You are also the ones running from any other proto user you spot in the distance. I could imagine you kids in a game with equal footing getting stomped into oblivion. When you play another fps (if you ever do) you will instantly say..."waaa my armor and shield isnt 80% stronger than theirs i have no chance because Im not overpowered. I quit!"

Am I wrong?

Oh and we know MAGGOTS rule this game, so when Planetside 2 comes this year, you can bet the house dust will vanish like a fart in the wind.

Umm I use to only play cod/bf before I ever started playing Dust. Now I almost never play cod/bf.

I go like 20/4 on avrg on CoD when I do play, which is very very rarely.. and I can't do that in Dust. occasionally I do that or better, but definatly not as an average. CoD requires no team work , and you just run around shooting with basically the same weapons different design. Dust actually has some good shooters and team players in it, so when some who are not used to actual teamwork and variances in weapons and strategy automatically go on about basically.. how the op just reacted or something similar.

I never played MAG, I know alot of people here did. I was a long fan of the socom franchise though, and played the hell out of 2 and confrontation ( 4 was like wtf did you guys do , this is cod ,signing out ). Teamwork and strategy people.. teamwork and strategy!

Yeah, PS2 is pretty boring. Anything you do in that game means nothing. The role you play is completely interchangeable, the ground you gain will be lost in a couple hours, and what you achieve has no lasting effect on you, the people you play with, or the world of the game. You're just shooting people to shoot people. Granted, DUST doesn't have a whole lot in the way of persistence either, but at least you have SP, ISK, and PC. That's something.

I don't know why people keep citing PS2 as a DUST-killer. If anything kills DUST, it will be DUST.

Confirming I have **** gun game, **** kdr, 15mil SP, and run AR on proto Caldari Logistics.

Confirming I do not play other FPSs, probably won't, and would die in a fire in any of the regularly mentioned twitch shooters.

Confirming this game is a character-persistent FPS not a twitch shooter.

Confirming I am perfectly ok with this, having fun, and not basing my self worth on winning FPSer street cred.

All that said... yes the game is broken and needs to be fixed. But not in the ways you think. Cry more noob.
