Not the first time this happened to me but perhaps the worst on OMS (Skirmish is 54-1 in Surya, still loose).

I go 30-0 on OMS Ambush with 3200 War Points and took down at least 5 tanks including a bad Enorcer fit, somehow my team still lost. Near the end I put on my OMA suit to try prevent any further deaths on my team but it wasn't enough. Anyone else had similar bad games?

I usually do about 4-7, so no, I haven't had such a bad game happen to me. But trust me, we've all seen you now.

Q-sync with your corp in merc battles. (Do they still play? Saw kain and veny the other day.) Its really the only way to guarantee the win. This is a teamplay game. And lets face it, pub teams are usually crap

I'm just a pub scrub but I do fine for myself running solo, it's basically the only way I play anymore.

I hate really big squads, and I hate that they went from size 4 to size 6.

In big squads you always get those guys who talk over everyone, usually not about the game, and it clutters the chatter for everyone else in it. Which then leads to an inability to really communicate anything that's going on in the game.

I like playing with 2 or 3 other guys, all having that closer small team feel. Being in a 6 person chat is worse than being on full team chat.

Yeah kind of not good when that happens. The only time I can solo is in FW matches where I typically just fight that much harder getting on average between 12-30+ kills for a small number of deaths....
any other game mode and Im doing horribly solo and have to squad up.

I do well solo and well with a squad, it's easier to do good solo in Ambush However

Playing with squads in a heavily team-based game isn't optional?

No your wrong. Winning /losing doesn't mean anything. Just get as many WP as you can. Seeing a squad leader just gives you more points.

Honestly, this sounds more like a complaint about your teammates than the squad mechanics themselves.

You can mute them. Not to hard to fix.
You can lead a squad and lock it too.

I went 149 / 1 in Skirmish but the one clone I missed kept hacking all the objectives I wasn't at. Useless blueberries. Damn.

Too many voices clutter chat is part of the squad mechanic. Also 2, sometimes 3 orbitals per round is a bit much and too common for squads of 6.

I play with the same two people definitely every time I play and we generally keep it small, but sometimes we get into larger squads with other corp/alliance members and it becomes impossible to communicate.

This isn't the case every time, and having 6 people in a squad is guaranteed benefits (be it better teamwork depending on who you hook up with, and usually 2 orbitals per round).
