I tried asking this else where but no answer so I just have a simple question. Does the isk transfer work between eve online and dust, or just in dust alone for the 1.2 patch? Thanks for your time. |

Ok thanks, be nice if it was eve as well. Mite break the game but think it mite drive up subscription numbers also. I would like to be able to fund my dust player from the corp I share in eve online. Oh well, maybe one day. |

Do search for Fanfest 2013. They have a great economics panel that explains why they can't do it right now and what they plan to do in the future. They have to make sure they don't mess up the EVE economy. Its a touchie business. |

I'd like to do quite the opposite, eventually. Funny how that works, huh?
My long term goal is to make enough I$K in Dust, to buy a plex... which will eventually lead to orbitalling myself in a PC match.

What's the use of player to player ISK transfer if you can't transfer loot as well? |

I think it is so people can hire people for matches in PC.
We are mercs after all.

So that's above and beyond the loot you get for participating in the match.
It would affect about 0.01% of the player base. |

They also did something with AR range, for the 99.99% of the other people, so everything is fine in the end. |

It's planned, they've said they want to do it, I'd imagine it takes a little more testing/coding then just transfering an isk value from point a to point b.

It's coming... just not this month or probably not even the next. It's important that we DON'T have Eve-to-Dust transfers yet because Eve Online's economy is much more robust and balanced than that of Dust. There is also the problem with the disparity of the value of ISK between Eve and Dust.
In Dust 514, 100,000 ISK buys you a full-proto suit in some cases. 1,000,000 ISK buys you a wardrobe or a tank and 10,000,000 ISK buys you a few tanks or covers 1/8th of the cost for clone packages.
In Eve Online, 100,000 ISK buys you a frigate. 1,000,000 ISK buys you a destroyer and maybe an Iteron while 10,000,000 buys you a Cruiser.
In Dust, 1,000,000 ISK takes a long time to accumulate unless you are doing PC battles.
In Eve, 1,000,000 ISK can be made in less than an hour with a cheap mining ship or running a few missions that don't take longer than 5-10 minutes to complete.
In Dust, 500,000,000 ISK is something you only see in a corp wallet.
In Eve, 500,000,000 ISK is something you see in almost every player's wallet. |

I am beginning to think that the ISK transfer from EVE to DUST may not be as game breaking as we think. Lots of people have millions of ISK and after about 25 M it doesn't matter. When we received the respec we got all our ISK back and now everyone is rich. There is not a real market so whats is the point? |
