I usually get good framerate. Only time it's normally bad (iron delta glitches up sometimes, but not as badly as skim junction used to) is when a shitload of players get in one tiny area and all start firing and lobbing grenades. |

Anything sub 30fps shouldn't be happening to games this day and age. CCP say they're working on it, so hopefully that gets sorted. |

Well of course they're working on it. They successfully made it worse with Uprising. |

Our eyes can only see at 20 fps.
Difference us, in real life, our minds blend the 'frames' together. |

Wrong, we can easily tell apart 20fps 30fps 40fps 60fps 120fps easily. |

First of anything past 60 FPS is physiological, your eyes can't see that fast, your mind however processes it better because chances of winding up on an 'updating' slot is less likely thus 120 fps does have that appearance of running much more smoothly.
Hollywood has done the hard word of finding out which FPS are acceptable 10 is the minimal and is often used for claymation.
In video games the low bar is 30 FPS anything lower starts to feel like a drag and it frustrates some users because they're predicting the scenes faster than they appear. |

Difference us, in real life, our minds blend the 'frames' together. Actually our eyes adjust to higher frame rates but I believe the limit for that is 50 fps. The brain is able to do this by shutting down other parts of the brain but it can see 50 fps just fine. It would really start effecting you when the fps goes 100 and above but I don't think the brain would adjust much higher then 50 fps.
Although if the brain could see 80 fps and beyond it would start shutting down stuff like leg and arm movement.
Also the theaters usually show I believe 24 fps. |

If you can have constant 60 fps, it is really good compared to constant 20 fps. Especially since it seems like the Unreal Engine 3 suffers from mouse movement being influenced by the framerate. |

Tv runs at 30. But you can tell the difference between 30 and 45 so----
I usually get around 25-30 in pubs. I've dropped down to 3-8 before in PC though. |

For anyone interested, here are some framerate comparisons:
http://boallen.com/fps-compare.html http://frames-per-second.appspot.com
The second link is particularly interesting because you can control some different parameters (I'd suggest turning off the motion blur and setting the speed to 500px/s). |
