Letter To CCP in regards to Lav hackers
You guys have done an great job on the personal customization of vehicles , therefore making it feel like a vehicle that belongs to me and only me - my complaint is due to my MANY experiences where a UNWANTED blueberry hops into my lav and either drives it DIRECTLY into turret fire or DIRECTLY into enemy mercenary Av fire therefore resulting in my death while i patiently wait or him to get tired of driving mindlessly around the map and exit - Lavs Are MINE - allow us To LOCK our doors and not allow this to happen any more - tons of waisted isk due to this has always been a problem / i may be just the first to shine a light on this annoying situational experience but some thing has to e done about this

Any chance on locking out the driver seat position on a called vehicle for anyone but the caller? At least until it gets hacked? |

Yup i should be the only person able to drive it unless i die / this makes the recall feature for relivent because you cant recall it when ppl are in it |

Or at the very least, restrict vehicle access to squad members only.
It also sucks when driving a tank, and trying to be stealthy, then some random blue enters the tanks and shoots at the MCC and out-of-range railgun emplacements; thus giving away your position and triggering agro.
Maybe password protect vehicles in the fitting manager? |

I consider this a bug, and a big one. This is something they have known since the beginning and they have done nothing about it: You pay for your vehicles, and you lose that money when they get destroyed, yet you can't control who sits in them.
The worst is when your million isk tank gets hijacked by a moron on your team, and all you can do is sit in to control a turret while watching the train wreck of the destruction of your tank. If it gets hacked it's a different story, it takes time to hack a vehicle.
If you consider that for some tanks, people pay real money (Aurum), I personally think it is unacceptable. But hey, the only voice I have is my money, that's why they won't get any. After more than a year of beta play and the last few months of release play, I am now officially disillusioned. |

yeah there needs to be something done about it. people steal my lav and twice my dropship and get us shot down/blown up due to lack of stealthy-ness. the best solution for now might be to call down vehicles in isolated areas. problem is u may get over-taken by enemy when away from allies. ive done this to enemy team at least 3 times now so. yeah. CCP fix this. in Planetside 2 they have fixes and permissions for this sort of thing. im not saying copy im just saying plz fix it. |
