So with commando suits to drop soon, does this mean we might also finally get the other racial heavies, or is everyone stuck going with Amarr? |

I suppose it could be a halfway fit I.e. it becomes a basic heavy suit, for each race, with racial variants coming out later. But it would be nice if it is the start of racial variants for all races I.e. everybody gets heavy basics, and the commando racial variant while waiting for the standard heavy racial variant.
It all depends on how they want to change the skill tree.
Best guess is this being another Amarr heavy suit. |

I only have enough to go into advanced Commandos for at least another month, but that's ok. If the suits aren't garbage I will enjoy it as my workhorse, reserving my prototype for my standard Heavy, possibly the Neo, unless that's just more AUR garbage.
I'm extremely excited to see how a Burst and Breach AR play out together under this new range system  |

lol other races. Why give other races a basic heavy suit when you can further the players SP sinks in a races suit only a portion will want. |

Commando suit is hardly a heavy dropsuit, because there is NO HEAVY weapon slot. A Heavy Commando suit would be rocking an HMG and a FG.......................That's a heavy commando <------------------------ give us this CCP.  |

I don't see how one implies the other. Nothing about the addition of the commando implies that we will get the other racial heavies sooner rather than later. |

Again, people want to play this like any other shooter.
I.E.: their one goal is to max out everything and then move to something else.

What he's saying is is that with the addition of a new kind of Heavy suit, it would make sense for all the racial Heavies to also come with it. Sort of like how the only suit class with all four races is the only one with two role suits (medium, logi, assault). It may be the wrong linking of cause and effect, but I can understand how he got to this conclusion/hope spot. |

THIS because we need a heavy that doesnt do a heavies job instead of ALL our heavy weapons and racial suits. Posted in the comando QQ thread: all ARs have place holders, mediums have ALL their variants, medium and lights have multiple AV options. We get one AI (anti-infantry) one AV no nades no equipment we're slow and now they want to release something that is done better by a medium with a sidearm. |
