2) Implement some kind of toxic radiation/self destruct for people who sit in the MCC for too long. You'll kick players for not spawning and fullfilling their 'contractual obligation', so why not kill them for not going to engage the enemy and capture the objectives necessary for your side to win and make money?
3) Take out that stupid ass grenade. What the hell were you all thinking? How did it possibly seem like a good way to enhance the FPS or core mechanics of this game?
4) I'm all for snipers/forgegunners having their perches, but keep it within limits. No game lets snipers be SO up high and away from combat. I've never seen a game that pandered so much to long distance warfare. OR 4) Put all the objectives in some kind of enclosed area that you have to actually be in to kill anyone capping it. Snipers should be allowed to watch the area, sure, but having a direct eye on the objective from so incredibly far away is ridiculous. No game does this, and for good reason.
1) Or make our TACNET actually reflect the capabilities that it should bloody well possess when technology has advanced so far. I wouldn't even mind a list view, like EVE, of all nearby units. It'd get a little long; I'd say make it optional and have an adjustable radius, with a transparency slider.
2) Many have discussed ideas to get people off the MCC. I especially liked the 'no floor' idea, although there are some gaping pitfalls () to that idea. Perhaps when people try to fire from the MCC, the bullet rebounds and kills the shooter, which results in -50WP?
3) Nerf the damage instead of remove it. The fused locus grenade has drawbacks: if you suck at throwing grenades, you may just kill yourself. Not to mention the possibility in PC to accidently kill your teammate because your finger slipped. Or perhaps introduce explosive damage-nullifying modules. Hell, a whole branch of modules could be introduced to nullify different damage types. Imagine a heavy tanking a blaster turret... lol.
4) Snipers should have perches, but dropships should have ways of getting around to those perches via routes which keep them safe from swarm launchers. Equip a Myron for speed and grab a shotgun scout and voila, the hills are yours. Basically , I agree maps should be altered to make sniper spots more accessible to the other team, but not by forcing snipers to lose their range. There should be ravines and gorges and canyons which snake around the outside of the map that dropships can fly in and pop up from, behind the snipers.
5) There should definitely be maps with more enclosed areas. Cityscapes are really tiny currently. Imagine the pyramidal structure that houses B in one of the maps currently, multiply its size by 5, and add even more interior pathing. The walls should also be wrapped in aluminium foil to screw with our radars.
