Go to objective that has no fighting whatsoever. Avoid LAV trying to run me over for 5 minutes Get to objective Hack objective Almost get in shoot out with enemy Get Sniped, forgegunned, grenaded, ran over and urinated on.
How was I outskilled by some scrub chucking an instant exploding grenade? How was I outskilled by some scrub on top of a building so high he takes up two pixels on my screen and only knows I'm there to fire on because he sees the objective flash? How was I outskilled by some coward who didn't even have to leave the safety of his spaceship to snipe me while I try to help the team? How was I outskilled by multiple LAV drivers all hauling ass around the map not showing up on radar?
Saying any of those people have skill is like saying an airplane falling onto your house all of a sudden and killing you, outskilled you. Every time I see someone chucking those fuse grenades they have insane KDR's - but this is mostly an objective based game where you have to be within grenades distance while capturing anything from the enemy, so it's basically a damn playground for any one running those grenades and nanohives.
This game requires no talent to excel at. You would think in this first person shooter, you would actually SEE people first person shooting.
1) Drastically decrease the collision damage from vehicles. I don't give a **** if that's unrealistic - it's a damn space suit in 30,000 years from now, it should absorb impact damage better than that anyway. Decrease fall damage while you're at it.
2) Implement some kind of toxic radiation/self destruct for people who sit in the MCC for too long. You'll kick players for not spawning and fullfilling their 'contractual obligation', so why not kill them for not going to engage the enemy and capture the objectives necessary for your side to win and make money?
3) Take out that stupid ass grenade. What the hell were you all thinking? How did it possibly seem like a good way to enhance the FPS or core mechanics of this game?
4) I'm all for snipers/forgegunners having their perches, but keep it within limits. No game lets snipers be SO up high and away from combat. I've never seen a game that pandered so much to long distance warfare.

4) Put all the objectives in some kind of enclosed area that you have to actually be in to kill anyone capping it. Snipers should be allowed to watch the area, sure, but having a direct eye on the objective from so incredibly far away is ridiculous. No game does this, and for good reason.
This game is a joke right now, and I can't imagine any major league gamer, who gets sponsored and paid based off their talent for skilled gameplay, ever considering adding it to his repertoire.
EDIT: I'm willing to bet anyone who does well in this game with these tactics has never had a KDR in any other FPS that's even remotely as good as their KDR in this game. The only people who defend this crap and actually don't want any of this fixed are just trying to cling onto the only thing they've ever experienced that let's them do well in a competitive online game. So here's a challenge: Anyone who really thinks all of this is fine the way it is - upload a screenshot of your stats from any other FPS including what weapons you usually use, and your KDR/stats in this game.
The easiest solution would be.
1. When grenades explode there should be fireworks and some music, maybe the national anthem of the player throwing it.
2. Snipers should be given binoculars only, no weapons. These binoculars will have a mini strobe attached so everyone can see where they are.
3. LAV's should only be able to go from one "Taxi Rank" to the next along a predetermined route, if they deviate from this route, the player is fined. If they run on the pavement they will be instakilled. If they continue to deviate from the route a Concord LAV will chase them until they stop.
4. All Null Cannons should be inside buildings, through several doors, down some narrow steps so heavies cannot go in there.
5. All maps should have an area where the true skilled players can strip to the waist, get oiled up, and participate in Greco-Roman wrestling.
6 A high KDR should be rewarded with Trophies, Achievements, free AUR and Medals, Perhaps even a title next to your name.
Will CCP introduce these simple changes, I do not know, one can dream I suppose.
