when flying my dropship with a friend, I noticed something, Dropships are meant to be used in groups. one dropship is an easy target to follow, big and withount cover, but put two in the sky, and things start to sway in the sky's favor.

Today we ran an ambush, He called in the assault dropship, and I the Logistics. we flew in a tight pack and basically demolished the enemy forces. we each had one squad-member in the gunner seats, and we caused quite an upset in the game.

match two, and my gunner wanted to try a fly, and he called in this Malita armor ship, same tactic, won the game in less than two minutes.

doesn't work if someone drops a rail tank unless you can kill it first which is highly unlikely unless they spawn it under you. I have no problem dropping rails in ambush to wreck some DS in a hurry. like skirmish thou, just got out of a match where I dropped 4 and 5 bolas, a sica and 3LAVs, one was a LLAV.

I need to find matches where you guys are doing stuff like that.

I want to crash my Gorgon into one of you to see if I can get you to kill your buddy too

saw that happen once, only it was a blueberry that took out another malitia friendly, and they both fell on the enemy ship, then the whole mess fell onto an enemy tank, It was hilarious to watch

You don't understand how hard it is for me to resist the urge to crash into blueberry ships.

Yeah this might work in ambush from time to time (depending who you are going agianst) proto rails in tank can one shot kill you in skrimish specialy when they are just camping behind a red-line and you cant get close. Most enemy tanks i've seen since this patch were all tanks like 85% of em, plus when they get up mountians they have the height advantage and the seprice attack, but you tactic would most certinly work in ambush and skrimish if not going up agianst rail tank/forge gun. Hope you keep up you way, not a lot of pilots these days.

why does anyone who has a success story with the unsuccessful get pulverized by critics? I have only lost two dropships today, and made 2 mill with this tactic. It works for us and for now, I will keep it.
