No but really this isn't for a troll, but a good example of 2 mechanics that I don't understand.
1) How is he alive with 0 shield and 0 armor? 2) How the KITTEN does his shield regen like it did? (<2 seconds from armor depletion, or <8 seconds after last shield HP takes damage) |

Shield regulators, and shield rechargers, with 2 complex regulators, if I get behind cover for 2.5 sec (or you reload without rapid reload skill) my shields start coming back, and a complex recharger gives your shields 45% more recharged per pulse over the base recharge rate, plus the added % effectiveness from the skill.
Skilling into the appropriate skills for your decided class and suit type increases the effectiveness of said modules. Read the discription before blindly putting SP into it, it will pay off better to be specialized instead a jack of all trades, master of none.
You aren't going to try and shield tank a Gallante assault like you would a Caldari. |

Dude did you not read my post? the only way this is possible is if the recharge counts down the split second after the SHIELD stops taking damage. Which I'm willing to grant is a possibility, but my assumption up until now has been that the 'suit' has to stop taking damage. IOW, you have to completely be in cover to get your shield back once it is gone. I totally understand that skills reduce the time, and recharger modules do as well. That's not my point. Once again, it is about whether or not the depletion timer can be reset by additional fire. |

I did read your post, but what you fail to realize is that perhaps not every shot landed a hit, even with hit markers, if it doesn't register, the counter does not reset. Broken hit detection compounds the issue. |

I've heard that it's bugged and the recharge delay starts after the first bit of damage rather than the last. Also think of the armour situation like Arthur from G&G, he loses his armour but he can still keep going til he's hit again |

Nope. You can see based on when his HP changes in his own indicator WHEN he takes damage. You start counting after the shield drops to 0. It's 8 seconds. When armor drops to 0 it's like 1.7 seconds. This leads me to believe that shield depletion timer recharge starts immediately after taking your last bit of shield damage and armor damage doesn't matter.
...That's just a huge revelation for me.... Maybe nobody else... |

Here is one of CEO Pyrex's more recent videos queued up for two back to back shield depletion scenarios.
It looks like the guy running is a minmatar proto assault suit maybe? Unsure of the basic stats atm...anyway...
Scenario 1: he loses shield at 2:38 and starts regenning at 2:42 (4 seconds) Scenario 2: he loses shield at 2:43 and his shield doesn't even regen 1 HP as the screen fades at 2:52 (9 seconds)
Scenario 2 shouldn't be possible if it's always counting down from when your shield starts to take damage, unless he actually did regen shield, that never showed because it was insta killed...? |

Planetside is good, and dust could take some lessons from it.
But...... it requires a playstation 4, not 3 to play to play, so presently I will use my cpu and not bother to wait a year.
Dust could have more opportunity to be betterif tit was on the PS3, and likewise is it possiable to play planetside on ps3, I am pretty sure it would have issues if it did. So it isn't a fair comparison that the current dust on the ps3 competing with a game that will in a year be on the ps4.
