Yep it was a good vid. Hope your friend continues with the game. I had the same problems with buffers and triggers being the wrong way round. Xbox layout and controller is just more comfortable for me when it comes to FPS. All I want to do is swap those 4 buttons around. |

If you submitted your beta with a hotmail address you need to contact SE support because they probably issued you a beta key and you just didn't get it, Pretty much every 1.0 Collectors Edition I've run into that doesn't have a key for the beta now that its in phase 3 submitted with hotmail and SE says that they are aware of this issue.
I submitted with a hotmail address as well and didn't receive my key but when I did the Live support I authenticated my account holder information with them and they all ready had my key waiting for me as soon as I finished the authentication.
Side note though: It's PC access that all 1.0 is accepted to, you had to be specifically chosen for PS3 beta regardless of the fact that us FFXIV CE / FFXIII CE were promised beta access 3 years ago when the game was supposed to be entering PS3 beta 6 months after release but well we all know how 1.0 turned out to be a flop.

Also the beta servers are shut down until Friday the 28th at 0400 (-6 GMT) and shut down again Sun the 30th at 0400 (-6 GMT). In other words you only get to play the phase 3 beta from a gamers Thursday Night - a gamers Saturday night. No beta on Sunday or the rest of the week :(
That changes come Phase 4, but we are not there just yet :) |

COD hmph. it is a really good game but kills fall out the sky whearas in dust shields and armor can be a cussword 1v1 battles are very "interesting" and them damned lav's or kill taxi's are just annoying but ive grown to love the chaos maybe she will in time but remember to show her how to use that sp wisely.. |
