I think this is probably a pretty bad idea, I think you may be dissapointed with how many post they actually read.
I remember reading a DEV post once where they put, loose quote "We made this person read every post in this one thread" and it was a pretty big thread, but only took 20 minutes to go through.
If they are proud of that, I doubt they even look at the forums except to lock your junk. |

We also could be very surprised to see this tag on every thread. We won't know either way unless there's some indicator that the thread was looked at. Also, this idea only extends to the original post. For each additional post in the thread to have this tag would be a bit overkill.
Plus if I was CCP, I would just develop a script that basically marked all post as Viewed by CCP |

I was reading the most recent DEV blog 6/21 and I couldn't help but feel it was incredible snarky and sarcastic on at least one point. It references that they got the help of the player base to implement their new features, but the references basically shows them going from something good to something terrible and then thanking the community.
Its like, well he had Skirmish 1.0, and you guys didn't like it.... so you got Skirmish 2.0, thanks community.

The forums seem to be loaded with people with absolutely terrible ideas, listening to the community actually sounds like a truly horrible way for CCP to do business. If they are going to listen to us, then we need a better system for getting "GOOD" ideas across. A better voting system then hitting the like button, and "maybe" a downvoting system for moving unproductive troll threads into their own seperate section of the forums (Still there to be seen, but off the main board)
