If DUST dies, it has no effect on EVE. If EVE dies, then why bother with DUST... but EVE is nowhere near to dying though.

I don't know if you're implying that connecting the 2 games will save DUST somehow, but if that's what you're saying, I disagree.

It won't hurt DUST, but it's not gonna be the saving grace of it. Not by a long shot. If people don't wanna play the game, what difference is connecting them going to make.

I'm just gonna say that long term goals is well and good, but at this point, right now, nobody cares what's coming 2-3 years from now man. People wanna know when the rest of the suits coming, will the aiming ever be fixed, are dropships gonna be fixed, when are proto tanks coming, when are other racial weapons coming.

Short term goals CCP needs to communicate with people cuz guess what, PS4 is right around the corner. Thousands of people are absent cuz they playing TLoU... imagine when next gen games come out.

From a business perspective, you can't entice a rabbit without a carrot on a string. What do you think a rabbit will go for? The carrot a mile down the road, or the one that's dangling right there.

Wish more people could see this. Right now CCP has to fix the short term picture because if they do not, there won't be a long term.

It's posts like these that remind me that you know more than I do. Mavado or Lance going off here is simply unacceptable because we are not here to judge you. We may be frustrated with this game, and may have our own ideas about how to run it, but that doesn't mean we should abandon respect and goodwill for others. I respect them both a lot, they both have made great contributions to the game, but slamming the CPM regardless of its truthfulness should be avoided here on the forums. I say this and hope I'm in the right to defend you, I know you and Kane trawl through posts especially now that I can see your names liking the 2 threads I put a lot of work into with these shiny new notifications and that helps. You must know it's frustrating to be so oblivious to your schedule and efficacy.

tbh I have made a couple jabs at the CPM in the past, but I didn't in any of my posts in this thread. I'm not disrespecting anyone on a personal lvl.

My opinions are always based on honesty and some insight into what I'm talking about. My whole point was the communication about short term goals is **** poor from CCP, and cuz the CPM is suppose to be the link between us and them, poor IWS is the recipient of my reply.

IWS told me all the work the CPM does, and I told him I never said I was ungrateful, but being part of the CPM is being part of the community, and unfortunately that involves getting down and dirty with us normal folk.

As long as I don't get personal with people, there's no reason to get offended. I'm an honest, frank, cynical individual, so my opinions come across harsh sometimes. I'm always respectful to people that offer the same courtesy.

Mavado is a tanker, and a good one at that, so he gets my vote, and likely, the vote of every pilot in the game.
