I obviously wanted the position an wished I had been chosen, but nominating myself is a conflict of interest. An in my absence I feel that these men would handle the job to the best of there abilities an rival my own.

Jumping the gun isn't planning a head - it's closer to theorycrafting who'd be the current best choice. Which I'm all for discussing.
