They are literally the worst weapons to use for all types.
The point of their existance is for players with better aiming capabilities, but considering how frantic strafing left and right is, good luck landing those critical shots.
No one complains about Breach Flaylock because it has almost NO BLAST RADIUS, is EXTREMELY SLOW (slower than a MD), and has only 2 SHOTS. Not even pros will use this, because only a moron would think they could dominate with it. The negatives overshadow the ONE positive.
Yet, no one complains about how crappy it is, because almost no one gets killed by them. What a surprise.
No one uses Breach Scrambler Pistol because it has around 75% fire rate reduction, only about 50% dmg increase, short range, and requires headshots on anyone with shield/armor mods or have fun trying to take them down with body shots 2 shots per second.
Last time I saw this being used was in Chromo. I've killed a few people with it this morning and it was because of headshots (one headshot on most enemies and they ragdolled instantly). Body shots were minimal because I got killed before I could land the finishing blows.
Some people use the Breach AR, but it's basically an 40% dmg reduced automatic scopeless Tac. It can still do some damage.
Breach SMG... Pfft forget about it. A slow SMG is a useless SMG. It's about the DPS.
Sorry. I'm (Q_Q' ) ing because for the first time in a long while, I got completely demolished several matches in a row, because I used a breach SP and all ready learned my lesson in the past about that crappy Breach FP.
Does any one else feel this way about them? I personally think they should be removed entirely. Save us all from their miserable existance.

The breach is only good if your gonna slap on damage mods.
You have to play, the way the gun is designed for, which is flanking and head shots. |

Breach SMG can be pretty tasty
also breach variants should trade ranges with assault variants low ROF high damage doesn't suit a QCQ weapon |

Once again I think CCP was a bit lazy here trying to expand weapon lineups. Some of these weapons just shouldnt exist or should at least act different than their vanilla higher damage, lower ROF setup.
Maybe they will be revamped in the future. |

The Breach AR and TAC AR would be perfectly balanced if they swapped damage, swapped magazine size, TAC given its prenerf RoF, and Breach given SMG range. Then they would actually match their weapon descriptions and both would be viable but for their intended scenarios. |

Breach weapons are for the 'Alpha' moments: Sure aim and massive damage. Their utility as a run-n-gun is up to the user, though the low ROF and the incredibly tight hit boxes would make hitting anything with a low profile a nightmare. |

If they get this weapon falloff system in place properly and smoothly, the Breach Assault Rifle is going to be fearsome again. Its primary drawback right now is it's absurdly laughable range couple with vanishing bullets.
If they don't **** up Commando's, I'm going to enjoy rolling around with a Burst and Breach AR

Breach weapons are made for CQC- fully automatic breach weapons are meant for strafe fights.
Breach MDs and flaylocks actually make a ton of sense. Increased direct damage, and reduced splash so you don't kill yourself in CQC. |

Breach AR's are pretty good for taking down Heavy's you know.
And the breach SMG is absolutely dangerous given the right circumstance's. |

Breach weapons exchange damage per second, for damage per clip/damage per accuracy etc.
If you've ever been beaten by the need to reload, that's a time when a breach AR or SMG could have saved your skin. |

That's cuz back in the day the Breach AR was one of three weapons not utterly crippled by bad hit detection :3
As for the OP I'll agree with the Breach Shotgun being a useless waste of space, but the Breach Scrambler Pistol, when in the hands of my Heavy friend, is almost more effective than her HMG. |
