They're the people who don't want anything to do with Dust, and they're the people who don't want any MEANINGFUL IMPACT from Dust. (Sorry CCP, orbital bombardment isn't really meaningful in the bigger scope) Shove it down their throats, even if they pound their feet on the ground they will thank you for it later. A little quote: Judy Maat wrote:There will always be a lack of meaningful interactions between the 2 game as long as their policy of: "either game should be able to survive without the other one"
You could go and ask even the best game designers to work with this kind of constraints and they will eventually throw the towel.
Go find me posts where EVE players have asked for little or no interaction between the two games. I'm genuinely curious. |

At the end of the day I don't think a lot of Capuleers care because we're not enticing enough. Greed controls New Eden as far as I can tell. I think they need to stop kitten footing around with our value.
They currently don't care because there is absolutely zero reason to. |

I'm still waiting for posts from EVE players who don't want meaningful interaction.
Let me adjust the goalposts. IRLpoors afraid to buy consoles and hisec risk-averse sh!tlords don't count. |

EVE players didn't ask for that. This is entirely in CCP's lap. Ask any EVE player who has been involved in a real sov war in the past 4 years if they wouldn't mind if Dust mercs affected the timers or the amount of HP in ihubs, stations etc.. Mindlessly shooting ridiculous amounts of HP for hours is not fun. |

Let me adjust the goalposts. IRLpoors afraid to buy consoles and hisec risk-averse sh!tlords don't count. I do believe they were used to be able to do everything on their own thanks to multi boxing. Now that they have to buy a 300$ "screen" (aka PS3) to do the same thing, they're pissed. Also, mind bumping that thread for me? So far it was 100% nope from the EVE players.
Which thread?
This one that shows EVE players lamenting that the interaction is all but non-existent?
Or this one that shows Dust and EVE players lamenting that interaction is all but non-existent? |

CCP have tried to shove things down the throats of Eve players before. It took them 2 years to recover. There is absolutely no way in hell that CCP are going to let the Dust tail wag the Eve dog at this stage. They have a long term plan, and you'll have to watch it unfold with the rest of us I'm afraid. Also, don't forget that Dust FW battles do impact FW rewards in Eve, though only by a small amount. This is probably a more meaningful interaction in the scheme of things, and CCP can slowly and carefully ramp up the level of impact that Dust battles have.
They impact the rewards, not the actual fight. There is a huge difference between the two. |

Yes, I'm starting to think that as well. |
