But this is what DUST 514 is all about, nothing close to PROTO and the game just chews you up and spits you out!!! Over and over again. you cannot play the game in full without PROTO. Big smile

Dude im still using a STD suit and i chew up proto scrubs all day

Its not about having proto gear its about knowing your limitations and fighting smart
all that stuff just gives you a slight edge

standard assault rifle deal like 20 damage per shot complex shield mod gives 66 shield

that COMPLEX mod reduces the damage of 3 bullets

if you ADS and don't spray everywhere you get SO many kills
...
im not even trying to be a slayer logi and i still get kills by doing it

I played Beta, closed & open, I have many skill points, but still it is everyday changing game, I DO NOT WANT TO BE STUCK INTO ONE PARTICULAR SKILL TREE. Today I want to an Assault.... tomorrow want to be a Scout. Unfortunately I can't change or @ least not @ the level I would like to be playing. This game should be one of the best right now, every days, I see less then 6k people on the servers, Even MAG had more players in the beginning! Good game, bad direction.

LOL I have so many Suits, guns and other gears that I will never use, since I will never branch-out into that class... again, because I will never get to that level.

Like I said, I am now an Assault Advanced Merc. Because of the NO RESPEC policy, I will probably never play as a heavy armor, nor as a scout ... and so on! Someone mention he can get 500K sp in a week, good for him, but I have to work and it would take me about 20 days to get 500K sp, without updating anything else. Yes I could run anything @ basic level, but what would this be the purpose? So, this is my question: Why would CCP make a game where it is nearly impossible to play all the options (Suit, guns & gear)?!? Why is it such a bad idea to be able to Respec (if you want to) and explore a completely different type of game?!? Thank you.
