Vacations ? But, but... Boat Festival.... Rapid Fire Updates...summer .. Rapid Updates ...finishing the game...HELP!! That doesn't mean we are not working or releasing rapid fire updates. Actually the rapid fire updates are awesome and mean during the summer vacation time in Iceland we can nail lots of smaller things and push them out without having to wait for the next big release. Should be a fun summer! :D I don't go anywhere until the end of August, so you all get to put up with me until then. Of foxxy your so cute, still trolling. you're*

So in other words your using the summer as a time to nail out a lot of other small/back end things that can be added without a major release? I mean..... how does it work exactly? Is the shanghai team working on the next major build while the Icelandic teams work on the fine detailed things? I believe the better the community understands the Developer process, the less will cry about time related things like "why are we having crappy 1 month updates?"
Developer process meaning: How the Developers and their respective teams work together and function.
Do you guys have like.... timelines/ quotas that you all have to reach? or is it just..... add to the game as you go? |

I am quite frankly amazed that it hasn't shown up yet. I remember back in January or February I asked about if there was anything more important than that and the response from a Dev was that it was being worked on, or on the roadmap. That was at least five months ago, so I wonder what changed. Giving out useless loot to players is a constant reminder that this game is still a long way from being a real MMO. Even if your Just exchanging Dropsuits or Weapons for ISK with other DUST players, it would help Buff out the Game, and Polish out a little of the "Unfinished Feel" that the Critics Keep throwing a Big Kitten Fit about.
Just Imagine How Dust will be in one or two years, with the Majority of the Kinks worked out, and Missing Bits Filled in.
