Yeah... you know there's a lot of things like that. The BPO selection is pretty small, and it's all restricted to pre-uprising suits/items. Anything that aids new players in getting up to 10 million or so SP at a decent pace is good for the game. Who cares if the vets get SP faster as well. One fitting can only be affected by so much, after that the advantage becomes a matter of having more fitting options rather than having better gear. The game becomes more fun at a faster pace.

I doubt the assumption for most people was "over three months after this, they won't have been seen again."

I don't think of sales working like that normally.
