I'd be fine with passive returning again. That is, I would LIKE it. The "limited time" message wasn't present on my 480p screen. |

People already bought huge stacks of them before, so at this point it's basically that everyone who didn't or wasn't around back then is now at a disadvantage compared to them. |

True. I didn't know they were limited last time. If they're limited and reintroduced, I'd probably (sadly) be looking to how much I might to keep them running for quite awhile.
The really sad part is that under "variants" there are 60 and 90 day versions of the Passive Omega booster. So, we might stock up on 30-day ones at a certain price only to have a 90-day one be a much better deal and get introduced shortly after. |

I imagine they sold well before, I'm not sure what exactly the rationale is in limiting them. |

Well, that's active though. Passive Omega has no bearing on how much time you put into playing. |

It's seems like forever-ago that they were actually sold now. I still feel robbed because the "limited time" message wasn't displayed in 480p. |

Yeah... you know there's a lot of things like that. The BPO selection is pretty small, and it's all restricted to pre-uprising suits/items. They released THREE more Caldari BPO suits with uprising while launching numerous new suits. Surely they realize there'd be a demand for other suits? That people play things other than Caldari? It seems odd from a marketing standpoint, considering Aurum items are their source of income.
Boosters already sell well, and Omega sold really well I bet. There've been many many posts about bringing Omega boosters back with nary a comment. Most people assumed we might see them again "limited", several weeks later. However, months have passed. So.... ? Yeah, I don't really understand it. The item exists. Art for a market splash-screen exists. Demand exists as many threads have shown. It's practically no effort or risk to put them back on the market. Very mysterious. |

It is CCP's trump card; they will pull them out either during expansions or when they are in dire need of profit due to a bad financial period, etc.
That seems somewhat cynical.... I don't think of sales working like that normally. |

Their absence provides an edge to everyone that stocked up I guess - they can all get SP faster than the rest of the playerbase and any new players that have joined since then. |

Next there would be Omega^2 +£berBoosters which all serious players would have to have active at all times... After a certain point(after 15-20 mil) you have your core skills up and you have your primary and secondary weapons and your suit to a point where your good and your need for skill points drops significantly. The better boosters would benefit newer players significantly especially early on in the game.
Right, it eases the path from Academy to useful. |

Omega boosters once, for one week, forever ago. This isn't the sort of scarcity I thought they'd have. Instead, we get more Aurum versions of weapons we already have aurum versions of? Who is responsible for planning these releases? |
