Please take 30 seconds and reply if PC has game breaking lag for you, yes we know inter-regional fights are really laggy, but I'm talking the majority of the time, is it playable, or is it broke as hell/why the **** am I a masochist bad. Restarting before every game does me. I still get the lag/framerate issues but i can shoot.
Sometimes i can go 2 straight PC matches without horrific lag *Achievement unlocked* |

Frame rate issues became a problem for me Zatara even in non-pc games once uprising came out. Every game has lag, but the frame rate got so bad i would literally be unable to move on my screen and just be a sitting duck for red berries. The game just became uplayable due to the frame rate issues. I should not have to restart my ps3 every few games just to make a game work.
By the way xero, I have to work in miami this weekend and I am really hoping i do not have to cancel one of my appointments saturday due to a Heat victory parade as the appointment is by their arena. I need your spurs to win so i can avoid this. |

1 thing (if any) that has improved in this new build is framerate... before Uprising I would get framerate every 2 hours or so of straight gaming
now I can go several hours typically with no issue.
now PC is completely different;.... I cant play 1 PC and go directly into another without serious lag and framerate...
still dont understand it but there is definitely a difference between pubs and PC
FW by the way i would say are closer to my experience with pubs (good framerate acceptable lag) |

Ya it was. Heat deserved the win after that. Spurs didn't wanna win last night. How you blow a 5 point lead with 30 seconds left... don't deserve the win. |

Hard reset before a match works 95% of the time (requires multiple hard reset 50% of the time due to comms bug and infinite loading screen).
If I play one match before a PC battle I get framerateofdeath in the PC battle 95% of the time. |

Yeah man! I swear by it. I was on the verge of quitting the game for good before my last ditch effort to reinstall. Granted I had not reinstalled the game since last June when I started playing this game during the first wave of invites. Hope it works for you. I once again would highly suggest to anyone having issues to reinstall the game. You can do it before you go to bed and have the PS3 shut its self off after downloading and reinstalling. |

Server side hit detection on a latency ridden connection is pretty bad when you're shooting anything that's moving rapidly.

Thread hijack. Improving PC playability.
I'm also a huge advocate of reinstalling. I have only had frame rate issues once (today actually!) but that was finishing a PC and going directly into another within 5 minutes.
But I used to have ridiculous rubber banding issues. It took me three tries to walk up ANY set of stairs (kept getting reset to the bottom.) reinstalling cleared that RIGHT UP. It's night and day. I highly recommend it.
Also - just a bit of a theory but - I've noticed in defends I tend to have better lag. Does the server favor the defender's region? Anyone else noticed anything like that? |
