This is the problem with these forums.
Instead of looking at an issue statistically and logically, it's much easier to say "working as intended" and forget about it.
Killing a super soldier in futuristic power armor with nothing more than a slight tap from your car is absurd at best. Why not grab the car and flip to the side, or over it? Hell, even under it. Grab the hood and lift your legs, you've got POWER ARMOR. Hell, heavies should be able to hold back an LAV if it's only just starting to accelerate.
The real issue here is that the only fix to this is either remove collision damage (lol), reduce collision damage (lol), or program in actual movement physics other than sprint and jump. Oh, and drastically lower the free LAV HP buff / remove free LAVs, and slightly tone back LLAV HP since they're a bit stronger than HAV's in many instances when it comes to survivability. |

Why don't we just make dropsuits out of whatever it is they're making LAVs out of?
I've never seen a car take the kind of beatings that LAVs do, let's just adopt that material and we'll be alright. |
