I play PC shooters all the time and when I decided to try out Dust again I noticed mouse and keyboard support. I tried to use my Razer Death Adder and my Corsair Vengeance Keyboard and they worked fine until I got into combat...
My keyboard works flawlessly no problems with that and my mouse seems to work fine until I'm in gunfire then it seems to just completely bog down and become crap...
What's wrong with your mouse support?
Also, why do we not have the option to change the sensitivity of the "sight sensitivity" and the "Hip fire sensitivity" seperately... Having the same is kinda annoying, even on a controller.
Going from running around with 60 sensitivity is just wayy too fast when you're running and then you sight in and BAM it's like you've come to a dead stop and your guy turned full ******.
I'm not using mouse smoothing cause that made it worse...
Anyone know if there are fixes to the mouse being so slow and sluggish? |

For now there's not much you can do, unless you can change profiles for the mouse. |

just buy a mouse with dpi like i do and it help alot. now game run smooth as hell with it. |

This is still a relevant issue. At the moment, Dust is unplayable for me without some type of compensation for ADS sensitivity. Either that, or the separated ADS sensitivity option. Something to make KBM support somewhat useful. As far as I see it, that keyboard's only good for talking and the mouse is utterly useless. |

first a few words about mouse smoothing: This option is not needed in games. It is for those old school track ball mouses to make up for there inconsistent balls from rolling. seeing as those types of mice are a dead/dying technology. Mouse smoothing does nothing for laser one's, and in most cases does more harm.
As far as the controls, it's awkward for kb/m users and vehicles, as it is easy to control the vehicle with the arrow keys, but you have to use the controller if you want to attempt to use the modules. |
