I would explain but I haven't seen a detailed peep yet other than a new system is coming in.
Also that stunt Regyum pulled off just is one such example of scaring a developer away from the forums. |

So can you confirm that we're actually getting the new falloff system in 1.2?
That's literally the top priority at the moment, as far as I'm concerned.
Or are they just giving all weapons a little more range while keeping the system as is?

I am only confirming that the developers wanted to do something of having bullets suddenly disappear after optimal, this was stated back in fanfest its been stated multiple times around on the forums and IRC. |

Agreed, however... giving us the information ahead of times allows us to manage expectations.
There are a lot of theorycrafters out there who will spreadsheet the weapon changes and a lot of them will be able to point out glaring errors right away.
However, just releasing them in 1.2... nobody has any clue what to expect, and then gets frustrated when glaring errors are made that they could have offered feedback on ahead of time.
Look at the armor plates drama, we all saw the numbers and immediately knew they would be essentially worthless, and a lot of good discussion came from it. |

Still amazes me that we had to find out thriugh a trailer, and then a CPM member, rather than a dev presenting it here on the forums.
Instead we get a half-hearted apology and a promise of more dev blogs that are nevergoing to come.
If Im ever a part of CPM Ill be pushing hardcore for devs to be communicative, to the point id likely get removed for misconduct xD |

That dev blog is only what team true grit is doing, there are a lot more teams than just that one. So yes, there is more than just that.
However, those changes are going to be very welcome IMHO, I'm not unhappy at all about them. |

However, I still echo the sentiments of this thread.
While it was nice to hear about true grit's new features coming in 1.2... we're all extremely concern with the balance changes that are coming, which is what most of us want to hear about before 1.2 drops.
I think we're all convinced we wont hear a thing, and we're all pissed off now, and going to be even more pissed off after the patch changes come out. |

And what improvement has all the forum arguing provided us with so far?
My opinion is that there are lots of issues with the game and we've argued about them plenty... the last release was a while back now. |
