Dusties refers to the dirty players. Meaning the ones that are covered in the grime from previous builds the closed beta boys the lifers the hardcore the ones covered in dust cause they haven't left there seat since the game was released.
Ps tbaggin is just a fps thing. it comes with the territory. You should be asking all the ladies why they taco dropping so hard! |

I truly hope this could be one of Uprising's early threadnaughts because it inspires me to dig deeper, embrace these harsh times and look from whence so many of us have come...
QuickGloves, Kain, and many many more in this thread give me a clearer vision, second wind.
Track this thread by its likes, not its page number.
What if someone like Chribba or anyone else with interweb saavy could make an interweb thingy that could read or parse every forum post and track likes and poster ID and who liked what posts...you'd have to be someone with an analytical/statistical bent..maybe you could make an app?
We could use such an app with the database behind it to 'listen' to what ideas and opinions trended and indicated over time with regard to DUST/EVE. What's that polling system for television that tracks a populations interest and ideas?
If someone decided to do that, then all the Dusties or Dusters or whatever flock you fly with would have to agree to sing in the same tune. Regardless of how frustrating things can be during these early days of Dust, we can distract ourselves with this 'sand outside the box' game we call the forums.
Like if I said #Game Outside the Box
And the app could follow that...

I'm at least happy to read that people are enjoying the game. For me, I'm done right now but that is one of the best things about Dust: I can GÇ£quitGÇ¥ and come back later to find my character with a nice old pool of skill points. As the CEO of my corp I obviously can't quit, but being able to slow things down and take a breather is literally the best thing this game has to offer right now.
I honestly wish we had Chromosone back for just one day to see what it was like, how nice the aiming was with a mouse and keyboard. I will give kudos to whoever worked on the lag aspects of the game, I lagged literally every match in Chromosone and in Uprising, it was much rarer until the latest few updates which seem to have upset my delicate internet balance. |

I think the OP is missing the point that most ppl who complain are not lobbying to dumb the game down (e.g. I've not seen a whining thread about how difficult menus are in a long while) but actually address current deficiencies. So I think this thread is tilting at windmills. |
