This is not true at all. It only seems that way because of the Original nerf to the HMG. The HMG should have been the high water mark for close quarters damage and the nerfs should have been toward the operational side of adding faster overheats, adding a short spin-up, or the other movement related nerfs that the heavy suit received.
Instead it sort of set off this round robin of damage nerfing and adjustments to make everything balanced with the AR forgetting that an AR's versatility is its greatest asset, not its damage- so the closer in damage all other weaponry gets to it, the more dominant it becomes. |

Did they even make a forum post about the hmg changes ? Was there a main feedback thread?
Not originally. It was mostly just Pdiggy22 crying that there was going to be nothing but heavies - which never happened even in that build. And even he wasn't asking the damage on the HMG be nerfed, only the HP of the suit.

Is it just people failing to adapt to a new game? Aiming got worse after Uprising. Mostly for kb/m users. Ah, I see now. So there is some kind of problem with kb/m then. I was beginning to think that you were all crazy. I'm a DS3 user and aside from a little fame rate problem every-ones-in-a-while (mostly in cqc while ads) and a very sporadic hit detection problem (comes and goes but overall not to troublesome) there doesn't seem to be much of a problem. There is a simple solution to this you know. Pick up a DS3 during the interim... Oh right, dust forums/big words that's a no no. Use a DS3 until the kb/m is fixed. There problem mostly solved. Where is Solid Snake when you need him. Is that dude still banned? Ah screw it, I'll do it myself: Adapt or die. DS3 aiming took a kick in the sack as well, Minute adjustments are very twichy as if the dead zone is random.
