If you don't find it fun I'd imagine you might want to go and find something fun to do... though I suspect trolling here in the forums has filled that role for you.

I have nothing against general trolling, arguing, and routine bashing in the forums. However, there are some lines that I bark about when crossed. I don't know if you spotted it quick enough but I actually had to "white knight" for you not too long ago.

Of course, senator troll, you are not shy about bashing people who disagree with your own point of view... so I don't think you have much ground to stand on.

As I said a few posts up... just about any flaw you care to actually describe I can readily admit.

There are a lot of ways to troll, it's not just about saying things you don't believe, but I'll agree the idea is to drive a reaction.

However, there is no need to take actions that are likely to drive away new players. I am not saying you have done so but that is something I think is counter productive and have recently railed against.

Perhaps you should allow that other folks are also voicing opinions they stand behind?

CCP Pyrex makes a great constructive video and we all need to behave better as a community to make the game better and support CCP instead of hinder progress.

Please, let's act like a good community and work together to help make this game matter. Obviously don't sit back and do nothing, but show encouragement, be constructive and try to stop all the negativity.

We all want this game to do very well. And this game is at the start of his lifespan. We can do this as a community along with CCP.

Thing is. Some people in here been very supportive for over a year. Dont make the mistake to think that everyone hear is pissed off an acts like a little kid after playing the game for a month. Like always, there's kind of a burnout among the community. No matter what people say, it has been very much supportive of CCP's work. Done major stuff to provide the game some audience in closed beta. Podcasts, websites, reddits, feedback, etc...

This burnout is for CCP to fix. When this community gets the sign it needs, it will come back highly motivated.

Point being, it's a bit easy to say players should do better. When in fact, they're customers.

I honestly wanna believe in the game. Every day it gets annoying. Every day you see fail after fail after fail. This stuff has been in the game forever. Like getting stuck on hills, walls, corners, OBJECTS just to make this short. Making one thing OP as hell attempting to balance the game by breaking everything. The shooting mechanics that has been a joke for over a month now. Supposedly they are bringing a fix to this with the new update. As much as I would love to start the welcoming party I am more on the I will believe it when I see it mood.

I really hope this is the beginning of getting things right. The game has potential but I am just really bored of saying that. I feel like we have used this line to death. I really do hope CCP can turn things around.

I will simply reiterate what I said in this thread.

You have started a revolution in online gaming CCP. Never before have consoles and PC/Mac been able to play in one persistent Virtual Universe. This must have been some programming nightmare.

You have started something wonderful with DUST 514, and I hope to see it succeed.

While you are lacking in some respects you have excelled in many others. I will be in this game for the long haul, which is why I care about it so much, and I'm sure my posts reflect that (when I'm not trolling).

We know you have a lot of work to do, and though we ***** and moan quite often we are (mostly) all with you at least 75%

I know right, no other game has managed to have players on the PC and console playing together in a persistent universe
I mean Final Fantasy 11 never did it 11 years ago, and Phantasy Star Online totally didnt exist 12 years ago

Dont get me to wrong, I do like having another free game out there and hope they manage to polish this up or at least get on the right track with the next update but Im not going to pretend CCP are these great pioneers of gaming
Maybe, and I emphasize maybe, when EVE was released that idea held more weight but even then they werent the first sandbox game with open PVP and a wide variety of skills they were just the first ones to do it in space and even then the skill system wasnt as all encompassing as some other MMORPG games before it

I was simply trying to give CCP some much deserved praise amidst all of the bashing of their work. I know when my work gets bashed -even rightfully so- without any praise for the good work I have accomplished, it makes me simply not want to work any longer.
