Does anyone knows anything about the rumors of a fix, on the Gallentean Dropsuits?.
I heard that those would have a fix on their mobility (not like Minmattar), apparently, a decrease on the speed penalty (like -25% at max level) and more effectiveness (like +15% more armor at maxed level) from the armor plates. |

Haven't heard that. I heard the community discussing it and requesting it, to help compensate for Gal Armor tanking, but I haven't heard anything from the Devs back on that. If you can find a link, that would be great, otherwise take a look above at Iron Wolf Saber's post, I think that covered the idea, and I *do* remember hearing/reading something about it, so I've added it to the end of the Mechanics section for now. If you find any CCP comments on it, though please let me know and I'll update the entry.
I apologize body, I couldn't find anything useful or more informative. Just some discussions and fights against shield being "overpowered".
But I find this (nothing useful, but at least show something being worked by CCP).
CCP Remnant:"We'll be reducing the movement speed penalty slightly on armor plates in a future hot-fix. - Giving proper racial bonuses! The reason the Gallente don't get (the very obvious) bonus to movement speed when armor tanking at the moment. Is because we use a tag system to confer bonuses to items and currently there is no way to exclude an item from getting a bonus. The only way to do this would be to tag EVERYTHING in the game that isn't the Gallente suit with a tag, which is error-prone and likely to ensure we unintentionally screw up some unrelated skill at some point. This will be corrected as soon as is feasible." . . . Plus, don't forget about the racial HUD coming SOONGäó. And (another rumor) Racial Neocom color. (Example: Green for Gallente, actual (blue) for Caldari). |
