I like them very much in EVE but here they seem a bit broken. |

The Viziam was the only laser that need tweaking. The lasers were feared I the last build when you were at range but when you got in close, the laser user was dead due to a glitch. If CCP had simply reduced the Viziam damage to that of the other laser rifles and fixed the highly reduced damage in CQC which I believe was a glitch, the laser would have been perfect. CCP seems to live with this motto; if it's not broke, let's break it, and if it's broke....perfect! |

I'm STILL using the LR. If you're going to skill you HAVE to go Amarr Assault ( to reduce heat build up ) and you have to go level five and prof 5 for it to be a worthwhile weapon. I would also suggest skilling up a secondary weapon because at short and medium range the weapon is even more worthless. Even then you're going to struggle to get kills due to the obstructive iron sight and the strange haze that make it impossible to see when you're in the optimal range to kill your enemy. It's a crap weapon at the moment and I honestly wouldn't even bother. Just go Assault Rifle like everyone else if you want to be competitive. I picked it up again because I enjoy the challenge and overall like the laser rifle and Amarr lore. My 4.5 KDR has been on a slow and steady decline since I picked his weapon up. YOLO |

You would think if you spent the SP and the ISK to get the best class of weapon and then dedicated your fit to damage buffs. The result would be kinda OP. Otherwise what's the point of letting people fit their own suits? |

Yah, an iron sight on a laser pointer makes about 0 frikin sence. An obvious attempt to debuff the weapon. |

I used them lat build, but was just starting into them. So this build I maxed them out, then discovered they actually, genuinely , no question suck.
Same range as an AR, but half the damage, on the worst aiming system in any shooting game I've ever played including wolfenstein 1, with iron sights that zoom in about as much as the scrambler pistol.
Now add to it the constant stream of female model+TAC+strafe exploit = awful game experience. |
