It's all I wanted to do. Now I have to play boring ass infantry again, and it just doesn't keep me coming back.

Same boat for me. I got to the point where pretty much the only thing giving me major problems were railguns and RDVs. Both of those can pop a DS nearly instantly, with no warning, from almost anywhere on the map. Makes flying basically a crapshoot, and the house always wins. Definitely emptied out my wallet.
I'm slowly building my wallet and SP pool up right now. If 1.2 doesn't bring some serious pilot love, either in the form of rebalance or new air vehicles that aren't made of glass... that's pretty much it for me and DUST. Too many other good games coming out.

I love EVE, and EVE players are cool, but CCP needs to realize that you can't do this "No respec" business in an FPS, not without plenty of tutorials and places to test out all paths before you actually sink your SP into them.
FPS is a whole different beast, and considering DUST is currently just a lobby shooter, we need it. We wouldn't have to worry about FoTM if CCP wouldn't nerf and buff things so wildly and randomly |

I stopped using them when I realized they were bugged :(. I was also never good with them but I have seen plenty of good cqc use of them and siege/suppression use.
I am hoping you guys will appreciate the developer work to fix the desync bug fix though hopefully that should make your lives easier for the long range shots. |
