I would like to request a spin-up function with the HMG. It works the way it is now, but the only way to increase range is under sustained fire which wastes ammo and time. And IMO, the de-spin of these guns is very short, burst fire makes them even less accurate at mid range.
I propose that holding L1 forces the HMG to spin-up, increasing accuracy before you begin to fire (as to the current aim down sights function, I don't feel that the "sights" help a whole lot *shrug*). That way, a HMGer can rapidly begin to fire in CQC, or spin up for more precise shots at longer ranges (still less than 100m, mind you). To those that think this would be OP or something (lulz), spinning up would make noise which could cause the HMGer to light up on the radar. If you're still QQing, spinning up could add a little heat-up, so that heavies still can't hold this new type of fire with better accuracy forever, forcing them to back off for cooling down and reloading (the horrible, horrible reloading). |

Makes sense to me. You get more accuracy when you start firing in exchange for a smaller field of view and slower movement and aiming rotation.
Seems balanced. +1 |

Good point. I forgot to mention the current disadvantages of aiming down sights. |

This would be perfectly balance if we had wind up upon ADS. +1

sounds good, let the gyros spin up while ADS, and wait for full spin to start firing, but the thing is, these HMGs dont have spool up, and the alignment of Gyros is how they grow more accurate... so how would we make this one work Lore wise? |
