I did read that the kinect will always be on and will be recording your emotions and how to react to games and heart rate and all that other BS so I am not surprised that they will be detecting if you watch recorded commercials. lol |

Not really. People keep complaining about the hacking incident and unreliable service. Solved. PS Plus has better value. It more than pays you back for the fee with all the free games/discounts/exclusive content/ early access. |

Ever heard of parents? I can think of a few who woudn't be willing to pay for a subscription so their kid could play games online. It's just one more hassle that they have to deal with.
I know people who the only reason they got a PS3 instead of the Xbox 360 was so that they wouldn't need to pay for online. Sure, now there are all those other reasons not to get the new Xbox, but the reason they went Sony in the first place was that its online is FREE, now they'll look into PC gaming, I know I will. (or they'll simply ingnore the next generation for as long as possible, then go PC)
If they need more incentive to get people to pay for PS+ I say give PS+ members more bonuses, not services normal PSN members currently get and just take those services away from us non-PS+ users.
And what's that about unreliable service? I've only ever called support once and the person (that'll be important later) that I got was really helpful. But with costumer support and tech support you run into the same problem with every company, having rude and unhelpful people working there.
And in regards to the hacking incident: I haven't heard anyone bring it up except Xbox 360 fanboys when they argue with PS3 fanboys over which is better.

1. There is an AUX slot so I believe it can.

think of it as a maintanence fee. you pay them to keep the PSN up and running for the low price of FIVE DOLLARS and get free games and other neat **** from doing so.

+Exclusives (Killzone, Infamous, ect)
-Subscription fee
- Xbox One
+Exclusives (Halo, ect)
-Rude playerbase
-Frequently breaks(I'm assuming the Xbox One will continue the tradition of having issues with the Red Ring of Death)
-Subscription fee
-Possible to have your account or ENTIRE CONSOLE PERMANENTLY BANNED
-Xbox Kinect 2.0 (or whatever it's called) "iiiiiii seeeeeee uuuuuuuuu" *insert cliched evil laughter*
-Just learnt a little while ago that you don't get to pick your Gamerag when you make an account, you get assigned one, then you can pay money to change it (not sure if legit, or friend was just trolling >_>)

-Must use KBM (unless you get a controller for it, but I've only ever seen Xbox controllers rigged for PC use, never a DS3)
And I've seen the games that you get free/discounted, either I already own them or I don't want them and I'm pretty sure it's going to continue being that way. Besides, you only have so much space on the Hard Drive, I doubt you'll be able to actually use all those games unless you buy a larger HDD to go inside, + a bunch of external drives. Otherwise you'll quickly find yourself having to delete those games to make room for the newer ones. |
