EternalRMG ZionTCD Unclaimed. 249	Posted - 2013.06.11 00:04:00 - [1] - Quote Many people will say that this is BS , that with all those F2P/MMO games comming to PS4 Dust has no chance people say this because of the current state of the game and the inability of CCP to get things done right. Well i think that the main reason beacuse everything is so "bad" is because everything CCP is doind with this game is new for them. This is the first console game they make The first FPS they make and the first game with Unreal engine These 3 factors combined lead to the game we currently have But when PS4 arrives CCP will be able to use an Engie that theyre used to use im talking about carbon. CCP has a lot of experience with this engine because this is the one theyve been using for eve for a long time. As soon as they get the chance to use the engine most bugs will be gone, Everything will be more balanced and game design and almost everything will work better And the only reason because they havent been using carbon is because the PS3 cant handle it What kind of advantages will carbon bring: 1. CCP will be more confortable using Carbon, not like Unreal ,an engine that they had learn how to use WHILE creating the current game (for those who dont know this game had 3 1/2 years of progress done in Carbon and everything ran smoothly until they tried to bring it to PS3, where everything broke and they had to start from the Scratch) 2 They will have more Potential DEVS beacause they will be able to use some EVE devs to help with coding and stuff 3 There will be A LOT more interaction between EVE and DUST because using the same engine for 2 games makes them more campatible that using different ones dont you think? 4 They might be able to bring back some awesome featurs they had in they carbon Alpha test (like fighter) and adapt them to the game a lot easier I still belive that Dust WILL BE an awesome game and i trust CCP to pull it off but for that to happen they need less "Nerf this, nerf that, they killed my vehicle with AV weapons NERF them " , QQ and need more FEEDBACK and in this feedback you need to think ive youre using certain things the way you should or not, and if they weapon that killed you was designed to kill you, BEFORE posting
