DJINN Marauder wrote:Yeah...the lag was horrid. I couldn't even throw uplinks down :( I also had to leave cuz I couldn't spawn. Some of the guys got into lavs then couldn't get out lol. We will come back SL! You have one more day of peace for your people on that district! tell them to have as much fun as possible...because they're going to be turned into free labor for our nova knife factories
I sympathise with you, to an extent....
Usually TSOLE guys are the ones who experience horrid lag, drop outs, FPS issues...
I do hope that the issue is sorted ASAP so we can actually see what stacks up. Winning or losing based on latency, is poor form of play, even if it's simply unintentional. |

Thought it was KEQ you were blaming for your assaults on ROFL districts... that's what the smack talking yokels you populate your matches with keep spamming us.
Whether it was lag or not, and I honestly believe that the shoe being on the other foot for once is actually fairness in retrospect (as it is usually us who experiences every issue you've outlined). Sounds like you're sore that you lost. Even though it was through no fault of anyone bar the servers.
When we lose, at least we don't sit here spamming forums with how bad our lag was. We take it on the chin, buck up, and go on. |

DJINN Kujo wrote:There's a difference between lag that your team can cope with and lag that is unbearable to play. As I have already stated along with Kalante we experience lag every time we play you guys. We don't whine about those: again as stated above, I said we had some good laughs about it.
- Looks like your scared to lose your planet of Aeditide V.... you should be.
-KEQ- Yes, you can still thank KEQ for the attacks; they started all this. Why do you think PHI left? Because one of the corporations in your alliance was barking up a tree that will soon be falling not only of him/her but rather the whole alliance.
TO KEQ: Hope this is worth your attacks.
To add: how do you like players in your alliance trash talking the alliance; I find it quite funny. Talking about how TSOLE never wanted to attack us and you guys are wishing KEQ never attacked us, cause they brought war to your doorsteps. I find it funny again I may add, that this started with KEQ, they are tired of getting their a** handed to them so now the whole alliance is trying to attack Hellstorm and you still can't win. Pathetic.
P.S. We will sell you all your land back if you wish.. we offered to sell those 3 districts originally. Your alliance turned it down, the offer we had, I know for a fact your corp will lose 20x that. Shouldn't of added fuel to the fire.
*Your failure to plan ahead, doesn't constitute an emergency on my end*

It has been brought to my attention that a smear campaign has been going on. In order to keep the faith of my allies and friends I would like to throw out there everything that was divulged so you can make your own decisions on what happened. Yes I was a officer in The Southern Legion and knew alot of stuff from inside the Corp. It is also True that I was friends with people inside Hellstorm. Before PC and even after Hellstorm and TSOLE had a Cease fire agreement. After Hellstorm attacked TSOLE I, personally, tried to talk to the CEO of HS to fix our relationship. I had put many hours and sweat into TSOLE and didnt want to watch all our hard work just disappear. We tossed many ideas around after we made up our mind I approached Jackal about some of these options. All he was concerned with was CPM and having friends who would back him for election. I ttried to talk to him that this would be the good of the Corp so we dont lose everything we accomplished. Even after So many losses and very little wins he still wouldnt see reason. I have nothing against TSOLE and I have the upmost respect for most of the People in that Corporation. As many of ROFL know I wasnt just somebody who just sat around I was there to Accomplish and make ROFL and TSOLE better. ( for we are LEGION and we will RISE as one). Hunter Blake aka The black Jackal has told everybody that I leaked Info to LOI. I have not. If I wanted to hurt ROFL I would have stayed and collected info until I needed to leave. I Have to much respect for my teammates and will not do that. To TSOLE: You will not see me in any PC matches against you for I have nothing against you just your Faulty Leadership.
I joined Hellstorm because They have an established leadership I can talk to on a daily basis on the same Continent. Also I was one of my first Corps. Im sorry if I upset anyone with my course of action but I did this in the most Civil way as possible. Thanks for everything TSOLE.
Fly Safe. Shoot Straight.
First off, I am actually sorry to see you go. I had thought of you as a friend.
I never alluded to you double dealing information. However your stance that we should simply drop our current alliance under the 'threat' of Hellstorm wiping us out due to our allegiance to ROFL without wanting to listen to my opinion on why we would not drop that alliance.
It has little to do with CPM, it has to do with the fact that Hellstorm did nothing but insult, demean, and put down TSOLE, and by association of us with RISE of Legion. You wanted us to jump ship, abandon an agreement we'd made with ROFL.
I talked to the other officers about the decision, and they all agreed that leaving ROFL was ill-advised move.
You aslo approached one of our other officers, wanting HIM to approach other certain members of the corporation and try get them to join with League of Infamy. You couldn't even approach them yourself. |

Jumping ship at this stage is premature. Yes, we worked hard to get those districts, we fought, we died. You know, it is just a game right? Molden Heath is just the beginning of that game, and not the beall and end-all of said gaming experience.
I compensate people for losses of gear, paying out a fairly hefty sum of cash every fight to keep them in the fight to a large degree. TSOLE members know this, and you were not online for a long time, you didn't follow with us in ROFL for months, then you come back and understood every choice WE made in the interim as bad ones?
I always consult the officers on decisions. You would have been included in those discussions had you been available, but instead you chose to be an absentee member, who then came back claiming that you, and you alone knew the right path for TSOLE.
@DJINN Punisher I'm sure you think you know the CEO is talking with you about leaving ROFL... but as the CEO, I can guarantee you that I am not.
Hunter Blake and The Black Jackal are the same guy... you do realise this? You wanted to talk, I was willing to listen, I made no guarantees of ANY sort that I would leave ROFL, nor that I would even consider it. If you got that information from somewhere, then I'm sorry, you got it wrong.
I always consult my officers on many things, and the nature of your so-called 'offer' was one... as a group, we determined it would be prudent not to involve ourselves with you, and to remain allied to RISE of LEGION. Unlike many of your members who like to do nothing but stroke their own egos, put down anyone who says anything contrary to your opinions.
There's a saying among almost any leader, and it's one I'm sure you know... "You can't please everyone." Da Harbinger was one not pleased by the Corporation's Leadership's decisions (myself and officers), and thus left to rejoin you. I wish him well in future endeavours.
However, approaching one of the other officers in the corporation and telling him to recruit a list of very specific individuals, to make a statement that my leadership lacks? You say it seems like it didn't work, but so far, almost all the people on you're 'list' have voiced disdain for your actions, and loyalty for the Legion.
It may be in the future we decide to leave ROFL, but it will NOT be due to Hellstorm's arrogance and threats. |

To Help you out, here are the message's sent to me, and by me, in these so-called talks about defection.
The fall of ROFL From: Evan Ebrahimi Sent: 2013.06.13 23:11 To: Hunter Blake,
I think you guys are in over your head and its for a reason you may not be aware of. Keq has made this a personal battle with all their **** talking so we wont stop until rofl is burnt to a crisp, corps are jumping ship from them in an attempt to save themselves, a few may find a home with us at the end check us out. www.theleagueofinfamy.com
Re: The fall of ROFL From: Hunter Blake Sent: 2013.06.14 10:38 To: Evan Ebrahimi,
There are not many things that truly get under my skin, but someone blaming everyone by association is one.
You guys came to my officers, with trash talk, when we respond only with GG, GF, and such. THen you approached us with offers of friendship, even a place amidst your ranks. Then you spit on us before I can meet with your leadership and declare another attack on us.
We support whatever alliance we are in, but deal respectfully with those outside of our Alliance. You speak of alliance, then betray yourself as degenerates who cannot even keep control of your own ranks.
I wanted to talk, you want nothing but to prove yourself children by blaming everyone associated with KEQ for KEQs attitude. We have never, nor do we ever, intend to sink to your, or KEQs idiotic levels.
When you can deal with civility, and not attack after offering us what you did, then we may consider talking again.
Hunter Blake, CEO The Southern Legion
Re: Re: The fall of ROFL From: Evan Ebrahimi Sent: 2013.06.16 22:35 To: Hunter Blake,
-----LOL we never said we would stop attacking, we wont until we have talked, no one stops attacks to talk possible peace... Alliance represents all its members thus its an Alliance maybe if you had some say in yours you could have prevented the attacks, or if you knew the players that were part of it you would have found a better home... We talked possbile friendship cause of one player who we know, but we will now relaunch operations against SL onslaugt toast, Rofl in eve losing look at all the war decs you guys are under... We will burn every corp associated with rofl, and will only stop when a corp is not in rofl. period, take as long as you want to talk until then continue to lose more ground.---------------------------
Re: Re: Re: The fall of ROFL From: Hunter Blake Sent: 2013.06.17 05:49 To: Evan Ebrahimi,
Under any conditions, an offer to talk is preluded by a mutual Ceasefire.
But common courtesy must escape you. |

Quote:Please take note Zatara this unwarranted behavior is why we are now attacking them, earlier you were trying to show them support and out of the blue someone jumps in and talks trash. This is what we have been dealing with, we ended up on the planet after fighting PFB, we had no intentions of even attacking them, now due to all the trash we have been forced to take the garbage out.
The beauty of this is that they are talking trash on KEQ , which is their own ally. The message their CEO posted shows half the story but it acknowledges, they were planning on leaving ROFL, thank you for the post Blake, now feel free to explain this line to KEQ :
"We have never, nor do we ever, intend to sink to your, or KEQs idiotic levels."
The Black Jackal The Southern Legion RISE of LEGION
"I do wonder, and I don't actually suggest this, but if KEQ left ROFL... would that attacks cease? Somehow, I doubt it."
Have them leave and find out, oh wait your no one in the alliance...and for future reference a cease fire happens only when it is agreed upon, not when talks begin...but I am done here, I will see you on the battlefield...
I never said that we were going to leave. I said that we would talk... talk, you know that thing you do that communicates words, thoughts, ideas... never ONCE did I say we would come over or leave ROFL.
As to myself trash talking KEQ, I will admit some of their members have rubbed me the wrong way on occasion, acting as badly as you. But I do not condemn the entire corporation for those actions. Every corporation has 'idiotic levels'... it doesn't indict the entire corporation. In your case, considering 90% of the people in your own PC battle trash talk us before, and after the match... I can safely apply the term 'idiotic' to your attitudes at least.
Ceasefires are called to enable talks, or the talks will get drowned out in bloodshed. Bloodshed while you 'talk' is not ANY country's policy. Maybe, before making grandiose statements like that, look up your history books. In all cases the path to talks, or peace, was Ceasefire -> Talk -> Peace at it's most simple pathway.
As to my position within the leadership of the Alliance, that could be considered a matter of debate. My timezone means I am unable to attend many of the meetings, and yes, things sometimes get decided at those meetings, but I assure you, if I had something to say, most, if not all, the Alliance Leadership would take SOME stock in what I said. In a system such as ROFL, there is no 'elite' group that makes every decision, it's as close to a Aggressive Democracy as anything else. Everyone's opinions are weighed, measured, and debated. |
